Like genuinely, when Alastor was ragebaiting Vox in episode 3 or 4, why didn’t they go down with Angelic weapons?

Vox especially wanted Alastor dead at that time. Like, what the fuck was Val expecting to do, fighting with his weak ass non-angelic weapon ass guns?

Like I get Alastor surrendered and that ended the fight but why didn’t they bring the one thing which can actually, permanently kill him when they were walking into a fight with the full intent on killing him?

How the FUCK are people even attracted to Angel Dust or Valentino or like some random ass slug demon?

I mean think about it this way, it’s animation so you don’t really feel weird looking at these characters. From the POV of the characters however, they are seeing things realistically. How do you go from being attracted to human beings to being attracted to whatever fuckass form the sinners take upon their arrival?

This question isn’t about the hellspawn btw, it’s perfectly reasonable for them to be attracted to each other and the horrific looking sinners. However since a very large portion of the world population is attracted to humans, I’m wondering how you can just disregard your past attractions and go somewhere completely different.

Like at what point did Vox decide he would be fucking a humanoid moth? You could argue Val is attracted to him due to him being a TV and moths are attracted to light or smth but TV’s aren’t attracted to moths.

Or at what point did Carmilla decide she was attracted to a huge humanoid spider(?) and at what point did Zestial (A man who died in the 1600’s or something) decide he would be attracted to a woman whose hands are bigger than his torso?
