(WS map 2 spoliers) got a PB after 20ish minutes and stayed in the same position (176th)
The troubles? Yeah I'm having troubles with my plumbing
What is Meshuggah never existed, and Metallica put this out in 1991 instead of the Black album?
If you've never heard this album, it's essentially And Justice For All on steroids, and it made me think of an alternate universe where every Meshuggah album had the Metallica name on it, with the head start of the first four albums. How would metal history change?
How do I get my bih to stop asking me philisophical questions like "nuggies or pizza?" I'm tweakin off the Forza gummies so I can't really answer.
What is the oldest campaign/mappack discovery type video?
These videos are my favorite type of Trackmania video to watch and I wonder why seemingly no one was doing them prior to TM2020. The only exception I know of is Spammiej's initial Trackmania Turbo playthrough from 10 (!) years ago. It's not like there's no content at all from before 2020, it was just pretty much tutorials, competitions, or compilations of good runs people got (usually on a tech map).
I never figured out the map editor (I'm on console) so I can't really do it, but it'd be interesting if someone tried to replicate the vibe of the original 15 maps. Don't make anything too weird, make the ATs progressively harder as you progress through, and the last map should be 3-4 minutes long. I know I would absolutely play it, and maybe there can be some sort of event with a small prizepool on the last map or something.
What made me think of this was looking through previous campaigns. For example, my AT run on Spring 2024 - 25 is 4194th in the world. I'm nine hundredths ahead of AT, so it's not like I gigahunted the map all campaign. Same with Spring 2025 - 21. I didn't go past AT, and my run that got AT is only six hundredths ahead, yet I place lower, at 5821st, despite the map being newer and therefore probably having more players.
Granted, the first map is a far more niche style, being rally car, whereas the second is pure tech. I try to play every style, or at least don't have a style that I actively avoid, and that includes alt cars. I suppose this would make my objective skill around equal all around, but the Rally map only took me about 20 minutes to get AT on, and the tech map took me about three hours for AT. Am I just naturally better at rally maybe?
