Hey everyone, ‎A lot of shops and Facebook pages in Bangladesh are doing "fake discounts" right now. They inflate the original price tag right before a sale just to cross it out and show a fake 50% or 70% off. ‎This is actually 100% illegal under the Consumer Rights Protection Act of 2009. If you report them to DNCRP and the shop gets fined. you legally get 25% of that fine money as a reward. ‎I just caught a shop doing this. ‎ ‎When I ask for the price In their insta dms they say it's original price is 1450 offer price 1300. But in their website it's 1150. ‎Upon confrontation they decrease the price and blame it on a "previous shift new moderator" but when I message them right back with a different account they DO THE SAME THING AGAIN!!! ‎what if I haven't seen the website? Moreover, they kept insulting me!!! ‎And I don't want to mention the shop name and get sued for defamation.

‎I want to file an official complaint. What action can I take?
