The title. I know there is an unofficial crdroid rom for the phone but I think the OnePlus Open has been kinda forgotten in the modding community.
Edit: There are some builds but the inner screen turned on all the time regardless of folded or unfolded state is pretty annoying. Any fixes?
I was on iOS 18.7.2 but for some unforeseen circumstances I had to update to iOS 26.5 through dfu mode. After updating and letting the system reindex for 3-4 days I noticed that there were some crackling noises from my speaker. Then since yesterday none of the videos are playing like reels, yt videos and just videos with audio in general. Even the camera app just shows a black screen. Also playing any kind of music crashes the app after a while. Is anyone also experiencing this? My bh is at 85% original battery. Restarting fixes it but only for a short while. Then the issue reoccurs.
I just logged in my account after some time and got greeted with this message after playing for a while…. Absolutely heartbreaking 💔 Hopefully someone can address this as I have never even thought of modifying or using hacks ever playing this game. I genuinely enjoyed it and saw no reason to gain any kind of unfair advantage. I polished my skills and hit legendary a couple of times but now I just wanted to enjoy unranked games and have fun with my old buddies. Truly saddening.
If anyone from the codm dev team could ACTUALLY look into this and not give me an AI response would be really appreciated.
EDIT: Can someone share me an email or link directly to Activision Support because I did and they said that they did not detect any suspicious activity on my Activision Account. I used facebook to login but also linked the game to my Activision Account. Any help would be appreciated. This is apparently is a Welly Merck model WM080 that is inspired by Star Trek. It is an automatic skeleton watch. I'm willing to purchase but want to know if anyone has bought it or not.
Two months ago I spotted this fully stock iPod 5.5gen 80gb version with only 230 hours power on time in a garbage bag in one of the hotels in Dubai from the corner of my eye. Picked it up and it had period-correct around 2.5k songs and 11k photos from the previous owner. The back was hella scratched so polished it using a headlight polish cream which gave it back its shine and removed all the hazyness, although couldn't get rid of the scratches even after 8 passes. Was scared of removing the engravings in the process so stopped. The result was pretty satisfying though.
Then I decided to play and test out rockbox. At first felt like it was a bit clunky but really quickly gotten used to it. Tried out some themes, created some playlists and began enjoying it even more. Then I decided to upgrade the battery because I wasn't getting enough battery life. Fell down the rabbit hole of modding iPods.
Then I decided it was time to give the iPod a new life and in the process converted it to a thin back (to fit in its case and the sleek hand feel), replaced the hdd with an aliex sd card adapter, thin headphone jack + hold switch assembly and thin charging bezel, applied a carbon fibre skin (didn’t really like the “transparent look” for my ipod) on it and upgraded the battery to a 3000mah cell. ifixit guide and reddit advices from this sub and r/ipod really came in clutch.
After these upgrades the iPod felt snappier and quick to navigate through the menus. I also bought the KZ Castor Pro iems to enjoy flac at 44.1khz. I also prefer wired over wireless because of sound quality. Was using the ugreen bt transmitter + app2s combo and it was good but I love the analog feel of wired earphones and the hassle-less experience to just plug in the headphones and hit play ⏯️ without worrying about the battery.
It was An iPod when I started this and now it has transformed into My iPod which I have loosely dubbed the CarbonPod. Loving it now so much. Such an iconic piece of tech ✨
Would like to hear some cool suggestions for a more suitable monicker for this pod. Also would love to hear your iPod modding stories.
I’m not able to get the right eq settings for my 5.5 gen iPod. I’m looking to get a sound signature like the airpods pro 2 with a little bit of emphasis on bass performance and overall a smooth and velvety experience. I do not know why even after setting the right parametric eq settings the vocals are so boosted. Is it the fault of the DAC? I use KZ Castor Pro improved bass version iems with switches 1-3 on and 4 off. Also my music bitrate ranges from 1000-2600kbps as I listen to flacs.
Need advice!
