I work as an assembly technician at my job and as it’s assembly, it’s extremely repetitive. I come into work everyday and assemble the same components for 8 hours. It’s become boring, and so I decided to spruce things up.

I come into my humid workplace everyday, put on Narco Corridos music in my headphones, and get to work pretending I’m assembling components for the cartel. And you know what? It actually makes my day go by faster. I’m finding myself wanting to do better and more so I can get promoted.

As long as you can ignore the fact that actual cartel manufacturing workers are there against their will and have armed guards around them, it’s actually pretty fun. Highly recommend.

Hey everyone! I'm planning on moving to LA in the future (haven't decided where exactly) and I'm wondering what to expect? I know about the big things (price, earthquakes, etc.) but I'm wondering about more obscure things people don't know about but should.

For example, I'm from Massachusetts and something people don't know but should is that in the winter, we salt our roads. That salt can rust the underside of your car and so you should wash it off every once in a while before your car gets damaged.

It could be a fact, a piece of advice, or anything that someone living in LA should know but most don't.
