Dollar coins and silver dimes were all from CRH, 5 pesetas coin was from a coinstar. Been a really long time since I found anything notable from a coinstar!

I finally got myself a loupe so I've been able to spot more variants that slipped by me before. Turns out a dollar roll I picked up a while ago had a wide rim '79 SBA in it, my first one! It was really hard to get a decent picture, but the Michigan innovation dollar has a very weakly struck rim. No idea how uncommon that is, but still a really cool find!

First and foremost, the 250 half for my halves type set came in the mail, courtesy of u/outdoors1442. Thank you once again kind sir!

1949-S nickel, semi-key date so I was really pleased to fill that slot in my album.

1940 Canadian nickel, always cool to find any pre-Elizabeth Canadian coinage!

Some wheats, 1929 and 1953 Philly, and 1952 and 1956 Denver.

A common date Canadian penny, and one of those 2009 Lincoln's 200th birthday pennies that I honestly forgot existed. That one was a cool surprise, lol

Didn't find anything interesting this week, so figured I'd share my half dollar type set progress. Kennedys are from CRH, Benny and the Walker are from deal hunting at local coin shops. Just picked up the Barber from eBay this week. Hoping to add a 90% '64 Kennedy and a semiquincentennial half next!

Nothing crazy from 20 dime rolls and 10 nickel rolls. But I started trying to fill out a nickel folder and found some of the slightly more uncommon older ones I needed.

I collected coins as a kid with the encouragement of my grandfather, and recently got back into it after a long hiatus. Decided to pick up my first silver dollar, it's not a high grade or a key date, but it's mine. I figured what better way to commemorate my return to the hobby than a piece from the year of my grandpa's birth? He's been gone 13 years now, but his legacy lives on.

Spotted a halves roll at work that was out of the ordinary from the usual I see. I've never really done CRH before, but I had a gut feeling that I needed to buy it. Score!
