Odd lights in a storm - is this a different type of lightning?

Hello all -

I shot this video of lightning from a distant storm last night - when I looked at it this morning I noticed unusual small lights - you can see them at the right edge of the storm cloud. They look like small dots moving around the cloud.

Any ideas what this is? Is this a type of lightning?

EDIT: Just to clarify, I talking about the tiny dot of light at the right aspect of the cloud that seems to be moving around. You can start to see it at the 3 second mark - it helps to view it on full screen mode.

Veterans Parkway Construction

Does anybody know exactly what they are doing with the construction on Veterans Parkway? The Sioux Falls website lists it as “concrete restoration” but the road seems worse than when they started.

Edit: To clarify, I’m talking about the construction south of 26th St.

“For a year, a team of 17—tiny by Ford standards—worked out a design for the first new EV. Their vision collided with Farley’s. He nixed the first vehicle the California team was developing, an SUV-type model. Build a midsize pickup instead, he told them. It fills a void in the EV market and will be a bigger hit with car buyers, he said.”

A 3 row SUV EV would sell like hotcakes. The Ford CEO sounds like an idiot and unfortunately this sediment is see all through US automakers.

Hello all -

I am interested in purchasing a property in Florida for short term rentals. I am specifically looking at "Harbourside at Marker 33" in Indian Rocks Beach, FL.

Example listing: https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/399-2nd-St-716_Indian-Rocks-Beach_FL_33785_M55321-67262?from=srp_next

The problem is I know absolutely nothing about SRT. I have been reading a lot of bad stuff about FL STR (insurance, condo fees).

It seems like it would be a risky move. However, I am less concerned about making a profit and more concerned about just covering the mortgage/fees and building equity in the property.

As I don't want to go into this completely ignorant I am looking for a good book I could read (or other resources) about STR that would help me understand the process/terms and what I would be getting into. Does anyone have any suggestions?

(Also if anyone has any details about this specific property or Indian Rocks Beach that would be helpful as well).
