Hello there mates 👋🏿. I'm 8omic , fellow CMF phone user , here to provide you with the exact advice you need about CMF phone 2 pro. Here I've provided every spec , gaming performance, camera performance and more. So , do follow for more reviews and suggestions on diff mobiles.

🔶 CMF PHONE 2 PRO ( SPECIFICATIONS ):-

1.) CHIPSET/PROCESSOR : mediatek dimensity 7300 pro

(4nm)(8core - 4P+ 4E)

2.) CAMERA SETUP(EIS) : BACK CAMERA - 50 MP ( wide

angle ) , 50 MP ( Tele lens ) , 8 MP

( ultra wide angle ).

FRONT CAMERA - 16 MP

VIDEO ENCODING - rear camera

(4k - 30fps , 1080p - 60fps/30fps)

front camera

(1080p - 60fps/30fps)

3.) BATTERY : 5000 mAh ( Li-ion battery )

4.) DISPLAY - amoled (LTPS) , supports 120Hz max , 3000nits peak brightness.

5.) OS - 3 year software update and 6 year security patch.

6.) OTHERS - mono speaker for music and gaming. Dual sim

support , in - screen fingerprint scanner ,

comes with NOS 3.2.

7.) IN THE BOX - charger , cable ( c - c ) , silicon transparent

cover, sim ejector.

💠 REVIEW :-

• so, it's been 8 months and 14 days of using CMF phone 2 pro and I've observed these several things about it

1.) FIRSTLY, the os is as clean and classy as one gamer or tech savvy guy would obsess over.

*Don't listen to those saying "nothing has started adding bloatwares in it" cause the reality is diff.

The bloatwares are actually app suggestions after the os 4.1.To be specific some apps are suggested to install but the thing is upto you whether you wanna install them or not. So they are not bloatware until they occupy a permanent space in your app drawer and can't be uninstalled.

So, the os is just customisable and flexible with things as you wanna do.

2.) SECONDLY, I wanted to tell you guys about the camera , which most people ask about in this budget.

The camera , is just clean and nice , like it's not overpowered or too degraded but keeping the budget in respect, it's much better than most of the mobiles offered in this range.

The only thing which disappoint is inconsistency, like at same preset and location or range , the pictures look varied quite a bit. More importantly the colours don't sit subtle. That's all. Also, this phone offers EIS instead of OIS which affects the photo stabilization or indirectly the detailing or quality of the picture you take.

*More importantly than anything, it offers telephoto lens , in just under ₹20,000 , which NO other company would offer.

*For reference I've given some images below in the comments. You can check it's performance in terms of camera.

3.) THIRDLY , about the GAMING PERFORMANCE for which many buyers might be curious to know about and fyi it really works out well, then expected.

Most people say about games stuttering, lagging or fps drops and all , but I'll tell you the real stats.

• I tried NTE ( neverness to everness ) recently and the

results were good enough.

*I played it on low settings :

Graphics - medium

Frame rate - 30fps

Texture - medium

Texture processing - low

Other settings - low

• With these settings, i recieved a stable range of 25-32 fps

while open world exploration and 22 - 30 fps while fighting

and heavy animations.

*The lowest fps drops - 18 fps ( experienced only once )

*The highest fps - 32 fps ( most of the time while wandering ,

and sometimes while fighting )

*Battery drop - 15% after 1hour of gameplay

🌡️Temperature - i played for an hour and the max temp

reached was 40°.

• BGMI - most people are focused on these FPS games , so

the phone offers upto 120fps at smooth graphics.

I played for an hour and the heat was just a Lil bit

noticeable.

So , now you can estimate , the level of gaming you can achieve with this phone.

***Features - it only offers a game mode with features like

screen record , dnd , brightness lock , fps counter , etc.

***Well, these features are enough in this mobile but still one

would love if it also featured VOICE CHANGER , as most

of the mobiles nowadays offer it atleast.

4.) FOURTHLY, the display.

• the display offers a straight ( no curved ) Ltps .

• supporting 120 Hz.

• Have a peak brightness of 3000 nits , outdoor reaches to

1300nits ( as per listed on nothing wiki )

• i tried launching as many apps as possible and still no

stutter or anything.

• the animations are smooth , belive me in it.

• I don't know much about display features so I'll limit it to this only. If you have any queries related to this , do ask me in comments.

5.) LAST BUT NOT THE LEAST , battery performance.

• The mobile packed with 5000mAh offers enough battery to use whole day or more with just 2 charging cycles.

*( I only let it degrade to 16% that's why I've written "1day or

more" )

• up until now I've 180 charging cycles in 8months and 14 days , which represents good battery health.

• I do both productive and heavy tasks , I do take long online classes for 4-5 hours and it plays out well and still manages to excite me with 1 hour of gaming.

*** All this detail is given when the phone is under the charge limit of 80% .

Limiting it to 80% and still managing this much is enough to call it a nice battery backup.

• The charging is 100% in 99min/ 1 hour 39 minutes

CONCLUSION :-

In the end , I'll not say it's a perfect GAMING phone or a perfect CAMERA phone , cuz being a gaming or camera phone goes beyond just being good in it.

• Gaming mobiles offer design , features and a lot more than

just having better performance.

• A camera focused mobile offers much more high quality

pics , consistency and features to enhance pictures than

just doing averagely good pics.

***So I , as an elder or younger brother , will only suggest to buy it if you focus a balanced phone with clean ui and stylish classy design.

****To be blunt, buy it if you're having it around 20-21k , cuz

more than that , and you can just add more mobiles for

comparison. I personally bought it for 17K max spec in

last year's bbd sale . So , i suggest giving it up to 20-21k

only.

***If it's for more than that on any website of platform then

avoid
