The Merging two Proton Mail accounts help page says nothing about restoring the exported emails from the secondary account. Is the restore a REPLACE (bad) or an ADD (good)?

I have a main, paid account and a second free account. I just did the following:

  1. Exported emails from secondary account.
  2. Deleted secondary account.
  3. Logged into main account and created the same address.

Now I want to restore my export, but I don't want it to OVERWRITE my main account emails. Strange that the support doc mentions nothing about this: https://proton.me/support/combine-accounts

Nor does this document: https://proton.me/support/proton-mail-export-tool

I have my own domain and want to move to ProtonMail, but Proton says the username that I use for my current main email "username@mydomain.com" is already used in ProtonMail. Is there a way to make this work?

I'm just getting confused thinking about it. I guess I can create my ProtonMail account with a different username, and then link up my domain, and create an alias to "recover" the use of my main email address in ProtonMail? Does that make sense?

What is this part called? I can't seem to find it on any part site or exploded diagram

[2014 Honda Odyssey EX] - There are two of these black molding trim pieces that fit inside the unused portion of the left and right roof rail trench. Our LEFT one disappeared somehow, and I'm trying to find a replacement. Any ideas?

Would you pay for a service call where the techs were unable to solve the issue? But I was able to solve it on my own after a little bit of basic research?

They sent 2 trucks and 3 techs and were completely unable to solve my problem. The techs called back to home base multiple times to try to figure things out, but they ended up sheepishly heading back to their trucks saying, "Sorry... sorry about that.".

I'm a big DIY'er, so I looked up the required info, found the exact issue, and fixed it myself. Everything is now working as expected.

They want to charge me $250 for the visit. What would you do?

UPDATE because people asked about the issue: This company installed a new furnace for us over the winter, and it worked well enough. Now it's A/C season, and the A/C comes on either FULL BLAST or not at all. That's the only issue. Seriously. I suggested to the techs that the unit had not been set up properly on the board... dip-switches or whatnot. They were completely non-plussed. They told me that I had a single-stage unit that either came on full or did not. I mean, it was LOUD and blasting, whereas our twin unit downstairs comes on nice and slow and ramps up or down as needed.

They literally sold and installed this unit, which is a S9V2-VS furnace. It is a two-stage unit, and "VS" obviously means "variable speed". I found the manual, discovered that there are no dip-switches. Instead there is a software menu. No big deal. I discovered how to use it and the code meanings. I set the blower mode to "Enhanced", which activates variable speed. Easy peasy. It all works perfectly now. Nice, quiet, and smooth.

I wanted to do this "the right way" by calling in professionals, but dang.

I had an American Standard S9V2 ([Model: S9V2B060U4PSCA 96%) furnace installed in January. Now that we need the A/C, the blower seems to be digital 100% on or OFF. Is this normal?

We have two furnaces/blowers upstairs/downstairs. The upstairs unit was replaced with the S9V2. The downstairs unit blows heat and cold beautifully... nice and smoothly, low speed and slowly ramps up when needed, etc. The new S9V2 blows tepid A/C at 100% power and then just shuts off. Then blasts on again and shuts off. We have the same thermostat units controlling upstairs and downstairs... Sensi Touch 2 Smart thermostats.

We just had the company that installed the new S9V2 look at it and they claim that "it's on the lowest CFM setting of 300". I explained that it seems to be either fully ON or fully OFF, no in between. And they said yeah, it's a single stage unit.

Honestly I don't understand how a furnace relates to the A/C, but they are telling me that the 2-stage operation is only for heating.

Can anyone help me understand what's going on with all this?
