Going Into 2nd Gear

Does anyone else feel some resistance when they go into 2nd gear? Regardless of upshift or downshift. I always feel like I have to put more effort to getting the stick into 2nd. Just a little more than the other gears.

Hot Take: I like the ASC

I assume most people here have an exhaust on their car and or have gotten rid of the ASC. For me though, I quite enjoy the fake sounds. And yeah the artificial part of it is pretty prominent, and I would prefer something more “real” like the sound tube that the ND MX-5 has, but I like that it still makes the funny loud vroom vroom sounds without disrupting others or being too obnoxious on the outside of the car, a win win in my book. I’ve yet to unplug it and see for myself what it’s like without the ASC but I just feel like it would take away some of the silliness

Tar and Sap Won’t Come Off

I have some tree sap spots on my hood and what I think is asphalt behind my rear tire. I bought some Stoner Tarminator and it didn’t really do anything for both. I put it on a microfiber and held it for 45 seconds then damp cloth and reapplied some detail spray. What I can see on the hood is that the area on the clear coat where I applied the tar remover is different than the rest. It’s hard to explain but it’s wavy and like the orange peel shrunk and got closer together. Any suggestions on what to do???

Question About Towels

New to detailing. I recently ordered these off of Amazon, I plan to use these to dry the body paint and apply a ceramic spray, but just found out that the gray color is dedicated for metal trim and wheels. Is the gray color only for color coding? Or will using this mess up my paint? The listing says they are 70/30.
