First social event in a long time

A kid came up to me, rubbed my belly and asked if I was having a baby.

Nope. No babies for me. 🙃

No offense intented (obviously, it's a kid) but still mildly embarassing.

Does anybody else just GIVE AWAY money when they're drunk?!

I went out last night for the first time in years (yay b/c I miss it).

Once I hit a certain level I'm almost in an out of body experience where I'm only semi aware of what's going on and making semi concious decisions (possibly quite common).

However on waking up today I remembered going to a cashpoint to get money OUT OF MY OVERDRAFT because I'd spent the 'just incase' money I'd come with by buying a bottle of wine for the table (& offering a glass to someone that ended up at our table) after I'd already stopped drinking, handing £10 to the 2 girls on the table next to us who were having fun for another drink, handing £10 to the girl who'd served us through bottomless brunch on my way out for 'being an annoying customer' after already tipping her £10 when brunch was over, giving a homeless guy £20 (when he asked for £5) because I recognised him from being in school with my sister, and insisting to my friends that I was paying for the entirety of our bottomless brunch and our taxis to/from (since it was for my bday and I appreciate them coming)...

I have no regrets about last night; I had an incredible time & it is the first birthday in so many years that I've actually wanted to celebrate starting a new year of life, but it reminded me that this is a pattern of behaviour when I get drunk that I've never really understood where it comes from because I'm not rolling in money by any means. So I'm like, is this a common thing? Does anybody else do this or is this something I need to analyse a bit more thoroughly?
