North east Derby day as Newcastle visit maiden castle.

We were, quite frankly picked apart in the 2nd half. Conversing three goals and being dumped out of the FA cup. It's not a huge surprise though, the team is ravaged by injuries at the moment. At least we can focus on the league no, even though that's looking a bit iffy at the moment

First visit to Easington Beach yesterday. Was hoping to walk along to Seaham, but the tide was still a bit too high to get past Choudron Point safely.

Images show a formation known as Shot Rock, with a number of other sea stacks alone g the coast line. Definitely one to spend a bit more time exploring
