My post about HOCI just got removed without any reason given. For anyone who missed it before it disappeared, the post was about hypochlorous acid, a WHO recognised, FDA approved compound your immune system already produces naturally, documented since World War I, used in clinical wound care, food processing, and healthcare globally. A 2024 peer reviewed article in the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology confirms its applications for wound care, acne, seborrheic dermatitis, and atopic dermatitis.
A nurse in the comments confirmed she has seen it heal wounds almost too quickly to believe in clinical settings and drank some in front of a vendor at a hospital wound care event to demonstrate the non-toxicity claim.
The post explained how to make it at home for under 10p per litre from salt, water, white vinegar, and a £5 USB electrolysis dongle, replacing hundreds of pounds worth of annual household and personal care products simultaneously.
A chemical engineer engaged with the chemistry and made legitimate corrections which were incorporated into the revised version. An experienced home producer whose detailed guide significantly improved the accuracy also contributed. The post improved under scrutiny rather than collapsing under it. 942 people shared it externally in 4 hours. Nearly 110,000 people viewed it on Reddit alone before it was pulled. Then it was removed. No explanation. No rule cited. No warning.
A post about a WHO recognised, FDA approved, peer reviewed, clinically used compound, on a biohacking subreddit, removed at peak virality without explanation.
I have asked the moderators which rule it violated. I will update if I receive a response.
The information itself is already out there. 942 shares happened before the removal and no moderator decision reaches the Telegram channels, WhatsApp groups, Discord servers, and private networks those shares went to. The removal doesn't recall the information. It just makes the point of the original post more clearly than the original post did.
A post arguing that information about cheap self-sufficient alternatives to commercial products gets suppressed because there's no profit in people knowing about it. Got suppressed at peak virality on a platform with corporate advertising interests. The timing speaks for itself.
For anyone looking for the full post, message me directly and I'll send it. The more people who have this information the better. And apparently some people would prefer you didn't.
