17th fret vs 24th fret for checking neck relief?
Hey guys, I need some definitive advice. I want to check the neck relief on my 24-fret guitar. Everyone agrees on putting a capo on the first fret, but... I've seen conflicting information some sources say to fret the very last fret (24th), while others say fret the (17th fret). Since the truss rod doesn't affect the upper frets on a set-thru body, which fret should I press down to get an accurate reading?

Bridge problem
Hi, the strings on my guitar are touching the area I've circled in red on the back of the bridge. Is this normal? Or what does it mean, and what should I do?

The model number appears to be easily erasable
This seems like it could easily be erased over time. What can I do to prevent it from being erased, or is it actually not easily erased and am I just being too worried?
