Need recs for shy/innocent FMC + caretaker MMCs with princess treatment 😭

Need recs for shy/innocent FMC + caretaker MMCs with princess treatment 😭

Last month, I completely devoured books where the MMCs are super caring, protective, obsessed with taking care of the FMC, gives princess treatment, etc. It all started after I read Elora by Beanie Harper and that book genuinely changed my brain chemistry 😭

That was the moment I realized:
I definitely have a thing for caretaker/daddy-vibe MMCs. I LOVE the whole “let me take care of you” dynamic. Forbidden romance somehow makes it even better? 😆

I grew up in a very religious and conservative environment, so reading books like this honestly made me realize how repressed I probably am 💀😆

Since reading Elora, I’ve been searching for books with similar vibes:
-shy/innocent FMC
-protective or caretaker MMC
-princess treatment
-emotional dependency/comfort
-forbidden/taboo vibes
-FMC who’s soft, anxious, inexperienced, or sheltered
-MMC who’s patient, attentive, nurturing, and obsessed with caring for her

And honestly… I think I love these books because I’m so tired of being independent in real life 😭 Reading is my escape and sometimes I just want to read about a girl being taken care of and treated like baby girl😆

Please give me recommendations with this exact vibe 🙏

Nocticadia by Keri Lake Unresolved Plotlines

I just finished listening to the audiobook and really loved the vibe and setting of this book. It was also my first book with a forbidden professor/student dynamic. That said, I genuinely don’t know how Devryck became so obsessed with Lilia considering their first few interactions because this man was SUCH an asshole 😭 Cold, rude, grouchy… the emotional development had me questioning things at first.
I really liked Lilia as an FMC because she was intelligent and capable, but girl… why can’t you hold onto your phone properly?! It was always falling during the worst possible moments, especially while eavesdropping or recording things 😭 That classroom recording scene stressed me out so bad.
Honestly, I almost stopped listening during the part where she became desperate for money and resorted to making voyeurism content. It gave me secondhand embarrassment SO badly. The thought of someone from the academy finding the video or tracing it back to her was horrifying. I hated that the author put her in that situation just to push the plot forward. I literally fast-forwarded through parts of it until the confrontation with Prof. Bramwell. Lucky for her that man was just as insane and somehow got turned on instead 😭
Overall, I was completely hooked. I was even listening to the audiobook while working because I needed to know what happened next.
>!My biggest disappointment was Angelo. I’m sorry, but that man deserved a MUCH slower and more horrifying death. Yes, his ending was painful, but after what he did, I wanted something closer to what happened to Barletta— the whole worms-inside-the-body situation was horrifying in the best way possible. A predator like Angelo deserved that level of suffering.!<
>!The ending also felt kind of frustrating because there were SO many monologues from Lilia about her love and fears regarding Devryck when I was way more interested in the unresolved plotlines. I desperately wanted to know:!<

>!-what happened to Mel,!<
>!-what happened after Spencer posted the missing recording before Jenny died!<
>!-how big the scandal became at the academy!<
>!and whether there were actual consequences for everyone involved.!<

>!Those parts were way more interesting to me than the repeated emotional monologues.!<
>!And don’t even get me started on Mel being the daughter of the Chairman of the University (not sure) because HOW are we supposed to get revenge for Jenny now!< >!😭!<
>!The book was so long, yet somehow there were still so many unresolved plots. Also… Gilchrist??? No retaliation? No career destruction? Nothing?! I needed more payoff there.!<
Still, despite my complaints, I genuinely enjoyed the experience.
