So I'm a pcm guy who'll be taking ba eco hons in DU. Now, I've never studied eco and it's gonna be new to me but the reason I want it is because I think it's a cool course like it teaches you the practical things like how the economy works and all. Is it true? Can you give me an idea abt what it teaches you? Share your experience as if you're telling it to someone who doesn't know anything abt eco. I'll be vv grateful. My second option is gonna be maths hons, but i think it doesn't teach u the practical things in life. It does increase your knowledge but not in the way that's beneficial as compared to eco. Do give me insights.

So I've got these 3 options ONLY. I wanna prep for govt exam like RBI grade B (not DEPR tht requires eco) or other exams like cgl and UPSC when I'll already have a job. So i want to prep for these exams along my undergrad. Which one of em is the easiest? I've heard maths hons is so so so so boring it feels like hell so prolly gonna skip it. But can prep be done along w eco hons or stats hons?

Is it really that difficult? Can anyone prepare for a govt job side by side? Do you get any free time? As I've heard eco hons is pretty fucked up?? I want to join RBI not in DEPR but in general but taking eco hons so tht i can land a pvt job if I fail in rbi exam. Do u think a person can clear rbi grade b along doing eco hons?

I hate physics and chem. If i take maths hons, would i ever encounter physical or chem? And is there gonna be a point where I've to choose one of em?

Let's assume there is one seat in srcc. There are 2 students A and B. A has put SRCC on first and B has put Srcc on let's say 5th. BUT B got one mark more than A. So now who will get this seat?
