And I have some questions, looking at the model 3 or Y on clutch

-I’m 27M I’ve never owned a car, I do have a bit of history as I was on my grandma’s insurance for a while, no accidents/tickets etc… I live in Toronto but will be moving to London ON. Can anyone give me a rough estimate on what I’ll expect to pay for insurance?

-my gf is having twins, are these good family cars? She’s worried about the door handles not working in a crash. I assume the model Y would be better for a family because it’s bigger, but how is the model 3?

-with a used one I take it the battery is degraded and only charges to around 80%? And then coupled with Canadian winter, that gets cut down to like 50% (is this roughly accurate in your experience?) with that in mind, is long range battery the only way to go? (I think I’d be driving about 50 - 100K every day roughly.

-how expensive is charging, how efficient is it, how annoying will it be to not be able to charge at home? (I don’t think that will be an option for me for at least a few years)

Thanks
