Someone on discord mentioned it'd be nice to see a flag for adenomyosis (which I had never heard of before then) and I was more than happy to ensure it existed.

The sunflower motif was once again chosen as it's a symbol used for invis illnesses. The yellows are also here because of that, alongside how closely entangled the endometriosis and adenomyosis communities are. Adenomyosis and endometriosis are pretty close in many ways, like the symptoms they cause and diagnosis difficulty. I also saw yellow accents being used on a lot of adenomyosis awareness ribbon designs for similar reasons.

The majority of it is magenta hues because that's the awareness ribbon color for adenomyosis. It makes for a gorgeous magenta hued sunset and a bright yellow sun(flower) in that sky.

Adenomyosis is also a very rarely talked about illness that deserves to be known about more by others. I encourage everyone to familiarize themselves.

I have has endometriosis for about 5 years now. I don't think I've ever seen an awareness flag for it before. So I made one!

To be clear, this flag is meant to represent everything it is to be someone with endometriosis. To represent fighting to keep going. To represent those we've lost. To represent how far research has come, and how much farther it must go.

Explanation of colors:

The yellow was chosen because of the yellow ribbon. The yellow ribbon is used an endometriosis awareness symbol.

The stripes slowly fade into a warm brown to mimic the feel of a sunflower. Sunflowers are symbols used to represent invisible illnesses. The fact the ribbon is yellow made a perfect opportunity to blend the two symbols' colors together in an appealing way.

The range of color is to represent how different each individual's experiences with endometriosis can be, as well as to represent that there are different stages.
