Recs needed: enemies to lovers, forced marriage/marriage of convenience, love triangle, fake dating

I've been in a slump for a while and I'm desperate to find a book that hits some of the tropes I love. Help me scratch this itch 😭

Some tropes I love:

  • enemies to lovers
  • forced marriage/marriage of convenience
  • love triangle (especially if it ends in why choose)
  • fake dating

Tropes I dislike:

  • trials
  • pregnancy
  • third act breakup/kidnapping

Examples of books I enjoyed:

  • Heir of Illusion
  • Warrior Princess Assassin
  • Heartless Hunter
  • A Vow in Vengeance

I definitely prefer darker books as opposed to cozy books. Any spice level. Any and all recs welcome! Please and thank you 🫶

In a book slump, need suggestions please!

As the title suggests, I'm currently in the biggest reading slump of my life and can't seem to finish anything I start 😭 Nothing is really gripping me. I need your best slump-busting romantasy books!

Some of my favorites:

  • ACOTAR
  • Throne of Glass
  • Heir of Illusion
  • A House of Cloaks and Daggers
  • Anything written by Rachel Gillig
  • The Kindreds Curse Saga

Tropes I'm sick of:

  • Miscommunication
  • Trials
  • Pregnancy
  • Third act breakup

Please please please send your favorites my way!

Villains & Vixens con in Orlando, FL - Anyone going?

Hi friends! I recently got tickets to the Villains & Vixens convention happening later this month. I'm super excited because some of my favorite authors are going to be there. I'm especially excited about meeting Madeline Taylor, Jaclyn Rodriguez, and Melissa K. Roehrich!

Are any other fantasy romance fans here going? I'd love to meet up with you!

When does The Legacy series pick up? 😭

I've been reading The Legacy series (starting with {Rain of Shadows and Endings by Melissa K. Roehrich}) and so far it's felt pretty slow. I'm 25% of the way into book 2 and the FMC is pissing me off. She's just whiny and combative all the time 😭 Please tell me it picks up soon and she stops being so insufferable? Is it worth continuing?

28 [F4M] USA/Online - nerdy bookworm in an ENM relationship looking for friends or more

Hi Reddit! I (28F) am in an ethically non-monogamous relationship and looking for friends or whatever that might turn into. :)

About me:

I'm a huge bookworm (mainly fantasy/romantasy) and nerd who loves baking, cooking, evening walks, cats, and getting tattoos. I'm not big into bars or partying, but I love staying in and cuddling while watching TV or doing something fun like mini golf. I'm also 100% sterile and childfree.

I would love a partner with whom I can have intellectual conversations and share intimate moments. Feel free to reach out if you're male, between the ages of 24 and 36, and want to see where things go. <3
