It itches, but I did apply some medicine to it and it is no longer itching.

The above is a comment I get for class final assignment. I cannot post photo so I transcribed it into texts.
I am a non-English native speaker, a PhD student who attended grad school also in the US. I received this (especially paragraph2) as a comment to my final assignment for one class. To be fair, I don’t care that much about my grade as a PhD student, and this is a mandatory class, which the professor taught poorly. I submitted the last assignment obviously shorter than other folks did in my class (as many of them are masters students who need good grades). But this should not be what I deserve.
I passed this comment to many colleagues of mine, some saying just let it go, and some saying that I need to report this to the school, as it is obviously disgraceful and condescending. What do u all think?
This happened one year ago, but I want to bring this out.
