New gun owner, ruger fan
A few months back my raised correctly liberal son convinced me that he wanted to shoot guns so I took him to the range and we both shot. Neither of us had ever owned guns but I had prior experience. He was hooked and bought himself a Glock 43x. I enjoyed shooting it and decided I wanted to also exercise my 2a right and I bought a Ruger RXM. Fast forward to today and my fam is shown but the RXM is waiting on its threaded barrel and comp. Shown are Ruger RXM, LCP Max 380 and PC Carbine 9mm. Not shown and owned by my son are another LCP Max, Glock 43x, Mossberg 500, ruger 10/22 with scope, a mark iv and a colt 357 python. They are a heck of a lot of fun to shoot and a lot of interchangeable parts like same mags for the carbine and RXM and same silencer for the mark iv and 10/22 and ammo is reasonable enough online. My son says if the shit ever does hit the fan we're doing ok in terms of guns that should be owned. Hopefully this will never be anything more than an expensive hobby but I'm glad to know that we can also exercise our 2a rights. Me and my son also both have concealed carry permits and have a trust set up and ATF approval for silencers. Oh yeah baby we're there🤙🙂
