First month as a Vegan

I just became vegan this month, and it was pretty overwhelming at first. Learning about the dairy industry was honestly really depressing. It was also hard in the beginning because there were so many things I couldn’t eat anymore, like honey and regular mayo. But now I’m doing pretty well! I’ve found alternatives for most things, and I’m starting to figure out what works for me.
I was also really surprised by how supportive my family has been about my decision. My sister even made me some vegan quesadillas, and my mom has been making me vegan food too 🥹. My family always tells me they could never be vegan because they love meat so much, but honestly, I’m okay with that. They’ve been really respectful and supportive of my decision, and that means a lot to me.
If you guys have any advice for someone who’s new to veganism, I’d love to hear it! I’m especially looking for good alternatives, food recommendations, tips for eating out, or just anything you wish you knew when you first became vegan. Thank you! 💗
