The new video on Simon's channel was insanely good

I think this is the first time I've seen proper world cup formatting. We had 48 teams, 12 groups, 1v1 quarter finals, semi finals, and finals. Just really well done.

This regulation is a joke (ferrari fan)

I mean let's forget about the fact that there is no reward for taking extra risk and look at what happened today. Russell lifted, instead of him losing time he got his battery to recharge and deployed that in the final straight. It's almost like the car has a benchmark and there is nothing a driver can do to go past that. Look at 2 of the best qualifiers on the grid, they both are struggling massively, if you try to push you crash, like how Max did.

What do we think of this?

Personally, I think it's a decent proposal. There are a lot of details to iron out, like how does F1 decide which 22 drivers in the world deserve to be at F1? Drivers can leak critical development information to other teams. Track and condition hindrance will come into play. Like someone driving the best car in Monaco will have an inherent advantage because of the lack of overtaking. We can't account for mechanical dnfs and whatnot, but that's part of the game. I know it's never going to happen, but if we can hypothetically find solutions to these issues, we can geninunely have F1 be way more interesting than it already is. Imagine the chaos. And it will also be a true testament to see who the best manufacturer is as well as driver, the ability to be able to cope with different setups, conditions, and uncertainty is going to truly define a champion. F1 is the pinnacle of motorsport. The best drivers are here, so why not truly test them? Currently, it feels like drivers are way too comfortable. They have certainty on how their car is going to behave and set it up and develop it according to how they need it. This, however, will be a true challenge. Their ability to adapt to different cars, be uncomfortable, and still come out on top will be elite. How many champions have we had where we clearly know that there was a better driver that season? If you are the best in the business, then you need to prove it by being comfortable in any car and show temperament. Even manufacturers will be tested. For example, in 2024, redbull came third in the standings. If Max didn't drive for them, they could have come 5th or even lower. I think this will truly spice things up even from a viewers pov, every race we can expect something different, the first 6 races we knew a Mercedes driver was going to win for sure but would that be the case if Stroll was driving in one of those 6 races? Maybe not, right?

This cunt is sat here patronizing the boys

Ego got to him good man. Fuck this mother fucker. "Be optimistic" "Be positive" "You are entertaining" stfu cunt, we don't need you to patronize them, just imagine how bad things ended when this guy has to publically share a message to reach out to the boys, he can't even face them, fuckin coward. He thinks he has a community beyond the sidemen fans, most of these new subs are all fhere for his superficial content. If you have any respect for the sidemen you'll unfollow him and cancel him.

Does KSI still value his core fans?

Quite literally, all of his fans have been hating on his new style of content, none of us want to watch that shit, instead of improving the quality of his content he is leaving his roots and doubling down on his slop. He can gain more views, subscribers, and an audience as mentioned (flexed) by his editor Mo, but they won't be his fans. Not taking your fans' input into consideration is absolutely awful, Mo (his editor) literally mocked his fans and said, "You can't keep catering to one audience. We need to move on." I can't believe I defended this moron during the whole Lunchly situation. Turning his back on his fans will definitely come back to bite him in the ass or at least I hope so. I know maybe my one follow won't matter, but it's about principles, and I can no longer watch this content and support him. For someone who said legacy is what drives them, he sure turned his back on his legacy. For people who'll say he left to care for his family, he clearly (and I cannot overstate this enough) did not. He did it to "takeover" youtube, he has said it multiple times, just watch vidals podcast, his stream with speed (today) or his editor's tweets. The old ksi can never be topped, a wise man once said but we sadly JJ is dead, only KSI is alive.

Hey bro, should we rename you Mrbeast Jr?

Since you are so obsessed with competing with Mrbeast and doing what he does. You were his peer, and now you've stooped so low that you are his follower. (For context watch the vidal podcast, he said he wants to be bigger than the sidemen, speed, mrbeast). So you left sidemen to become the king of youtube, not to focus on your family? At least be honest about it mate, no wonder none of the sidemen boys have reacted to any of this.

I know I'm going to get downvoted but please humble KSI, show the power of sidemen fans, show that we care

This guy has been manipulated by his team to chase vanity metrics and useless numbers that don't mean much (like sloppy yt shorts views), just look at what he said on Vidal's podcast ("I'm going to get bigger than the sidemen, I'm already getting more views (shorts 🤡😂) and now I need to get more subs than them") then sharing that video of Vik, painting him as a hater where he was just expressing his opinion and lowkey supporting him by saying that he would love to see it, how low has KSI stooped? Today on stream, Simon looked hella pissed with KSI, addressed the situation for a second, and he was pissed fs. Ksi thinks doing sloppy, Mrbeast style content will gain him more success and fans, but he is just a guy who betrayed all his values (he is the one who told deji not to chase numbers and to just create quality content), it looks like KSI has abandoned everything he stands for. He was always egotistical, but at least the boys kept him grounded, and now he has a bunch of yes men around him who are feeding his ego. It's like that scene in the boys, for those of you who have seen the show, Stan Edgar confronts homelander and says, "Now you have full control of Vought, no one to stop you. But soon you'll come to regret that. Because you don't have anyone left to cover for you either, the people will soon see the pitiful disappointment that you are."

So please guys, do something about it. Show that we as sidemen fans care. Unfollow and unsub from KSI on all platforms, show him that this is not the way forward, and don't enable him to becoming an egotistical asshole. Ever since he partnered with Logan his attitude has changed and now with his awful team around him, he has fallen from grace, I wouldn't be surprised if KSI got canceled soon, none of the sidemen boys are happy with this decision, it is not a decision to cut down on work, it is a direct declaration of war against the sidemen, why would he leave the sidemen and then double down on his own content if he wanted that spare time for his family? You can call this parasocial behavior or whatever, but deep down, even the sidemen boys would love to see this happen. Spread this to unfollow him on every platform everywhere else too, spread the message because reddit only has a few members and it won't leave a lasting impact.

KSI will now go all in on his channel to become the Temu Mrbeast

If you guys think he left the sidemen to focus on his family then you'll be surprised, he will now produce even more content than before to attract kids to watch his shitty low effort, brain rot content. At least Mrbeast videos are watchable, what KSI produces is complete slop, unless he has a good guest. It is our duty to not support this manchild, he should regret this decision.

Someone probably bought his stake

This would make the most sense. I'm not saying he got kicked out or anything. He left voluntarily and someone else bought him out. He can't just up and leave and not cash in, and it wouldn't be fair on the boys if it was just like, "yeahh I won't earn any money from the future videos but I still want a piece of all of the businesses in the future." The other 6 will be working relentlessly to drive the brand and the businesses up, we can't have KSI just sit there and do nothing and reap the rewards. If they plan on replacing him, Deji would be a good shout (KSI could have passed his stake to his brother with some kind of future 50 50 split or something, it would be the easiest call). Or they now have a new CEO, probably he bought KSI's stake out. This is very frustrating because it was the only group that stood the test of time but to see them split is never good, all because KSI wants to become temu Mrbeast.
