Hi y’all, newbie here again :) You were so helpful in helping to decide to get a ticket! I’ll be at Grant Park on Friday morning and got the raid passes and city explorer for the other days.
But I have another question - my 5 year old obviously doesn’t have his own phone/go account. Can I bring him with me to Grant Park so we can play together? Not sure if there’s security checking for tickets.

Hi all! I’m VERY new to Pokémon Go. I watched the show as a kid but never got into card collecting or anything. Now my 5 year old is into Pokémon so we started playing Go together.
I’m only level 25, I don’t battle, and I’ve never participated in a raid (not even sure if I know how to? lol) I’m really only interested in catching Pokémon.
Is it still worth getting a GoFest pass for a player like me?
ETA: I’m a Chicago local and work near Grant Park so I’ll be in the area on Friday anyway 😊
