I saw that their stock has decreased a decent amount but I have a feeling it’ll go back up🫩🫩. I have heard sales aren’t doing so well on the Marshall’s and Tjmaxx side so maybe it’s that?

DM came to visit the store and walked through the departments. The only bad thing she said was the q line doesn’t make any sense cuz there’s too much of home 😹. Managers were mad at us like it’s our fault. That’s what they get. They tried to do a coordinator meeting but couldn’t cuz we were understaffed 👹. They sounded pissed on the walkie. They had me take out grids from the toy gondola so I guess they want the toys to fall through the floor like they used to before 🤷‍♂️. Like why is it so hard for yall to order some?!?? I’m telling you they genuinely don’t gaf about mens/kids cuz it’s barely invested in. I can’t wait to leave cuz only me and the coordinator are the ones keeping it alive and they’re cooked if either of us leave.

I’ve noticed an increase of clearance tags being taken off and unable to remake the tag cuz of it. It’s mostly the labels bro like what are these customers doing?!?! It’s even more obvious if they do ticket switching cuz the mark they leave after taking the stickers off and the fact that it barely sticks after being taken off.

For the next few weeks I will be by myself in the men’s/kids department cuz the beauty coord is on vacation and they’re moving other coords around to fill in for other departments as well. I have to train the new associates coming in as well cuz ima need help🫩. My manager wanted me to do a big move in men’s all by myself but the coordinator helped me cuz even she knows it was a lot, like that project took me my whole shift to do. Like can yall at least pay me more?!! Make me coordinator?!? I’ve clearly shown interest in the position yet they’ve never asked me. The only reason they’re moving everyone is cuz of that useless key carrier/women’s coordinator they hired a few months ago. It’s been 6 MONTHS and she still can’t do shit right, like NOBODY likes her either . They’re making her admin to see how she does and I swear if they don’t fire her…. LIKE EVEN MY MANAGERS KNOW SHE DOESNT DO ANYTHING. My coworker that I used to work with at a store that is now closed transferred to our store cuz she knew they were looking for a coordinator at time, asked my manager if she could become the coordinator and they said no?!?!!? She’s been with the company for 6 years and she was a CEC at the old store?!!? This management has gotten worse over time i genuinely don’t know what’s happening.

Anyone on here a customer who frequents this location? Any associates who work here? I plan transferring there if I get the promotion. I just wanna get some knowledge about the environment of this store.

Is anyone else’s store getting rid of the Kronos device we use to clock in/clock out? My managers have only told coords which is how I found out myself. I’ve seen multiple Reddit posts about workjam going through an update but I’m still able to use the app to see my schedule and everything. Like managers have not mentioned anything to us about a workjam update😭😭.

We are constantly understaffed bc of the hours being cut. The favoritism is also starting to get annoying as well. My coworker just recently got promoted to key carrier and now she’s not allowed to ring anymore so more people who aren’t allowed to ring…my managers AND the admin don’t ring either like i genuinely don’t get it. The managers or admin don’t even at least help with recovery or go backs when it’s busy like hello?!!?! My ops manager just finished with hiring new people (my hours will be cut even more🥀🥀🥀) they better make these people cashiers or backroom associates bc that’s where they’re needed the most. We have enough people who know how to work the floor they’re just not scheduled enough unfortunately.

Bro I just got out of the worst shift of my life, worse than my holiday season shifts. Tell me why they only scheduled two cashiers (cec, regular associate) for Saturday…. I saw on the line up that they wanted every floor associate to cover front end for an hour, none of us did😹😹😹. We were called up to ring literally every 3 minutes. I had 4 racks to do which my manager wanted me to do but I can’t even do shit cuz im being called up😭😭😭. TJX is really leaning into burlingtons business model cuz ts is BAD. They clearly don’t want merchandise to be put out and no recovery to be done. And we’re STILL not hiring…..we were supposed to start hiring the last week of May.

Had the performance review meeting today with my manager and it was good. They acknowledged the hard work I put in my department and my ideas. The only thing slightly negative she talked to me about was how I don’t interact with customers (OSAT score) on the sales floor and about the credit card 🫩. I’m finally getting paid $17hr but ts not even a livable wage in Maryland😭. I’m still in college and living with my parents so it’s not too bad ig

What is the number for the tipline? I recently got hired at a store that is a hazard for everyone including customers. The management here is genuinely horrific and I’m shocked that this store is still open. The humidity inside the store is very concerning and there’s probably mold 😭. This store is an older Burlington location that still has carpet and the old black and white tiles.

Are admins allowed to help ring?!? We have an admin and she literally didn’t help us ring and I was stuck on register for 2hrs….my department was a mess 🫩. She only started ringing once the cec left. Like ik damn well you weren’t doing anything in that damn office 😭😭.

Does anyone else wish for the downfall of tjx companies😊? Maybe once their stock starts to drop drastically the bum ceo could do something or he gets kicked out 🥹🥹.

Does anyone here work at a Tjmaxx in Maryland? Another store has just recently closed permanently in the state over in Cumberland MD. This is the 3rd Tjmaxx in the state to close within 5 years 😭✌️. I feel bad cuz that store had gotten a remodel a few months ago I think. The associates also wouldn’t be able to transfer to another store in the district cuz the closest one to Cumberland is 40mins away….i heard the SM had to transfer to a store in Montgomery county and the company actually offered her a hotel room.

Hours being cut to oblivion means the store is gonna look a constant mess, backroom also looking insane , and trucks full of merchandise (junk) with no space to put them on the floor. Seems like Tjx companies have been taking notes from Burlington😂😂✌️. We’re gonna start looking like a thrift store just like them in no time with the way things are going.

I’m scheduled 22hrs for the week of may 17. I have 2 shifts in the backroom and it’s only me and the coordinator processing the merchandise from the truck…..On the Saturday of that same week only two cashiers and a cec and idk if any of them will close with me. They have me at the front end for the last 2hrs of my shift….Son🥀🫩

I checked workday to see my current pay rate and it increased by 20 cents🫩. Before it was 16.18 and now it’s 16.38. Has anyone else gotten this raise yet?

There were actually two other corporate people who were there to talk to us about our managers and the company. They asked me about the departments I’ve worked in and training. I did tell them that training needs to be improved and that managers should retrain staff if they’re not improving cuz we not gonna be the ones to do it👹😹. I told them that the people who work in my department are genuinely useless. I also told them there are multiple times where the manager doesn’t schedule people for closing or opening departments and it affects us all. I overheard one of my coworkers talking to one and she was talking shit and another coworker was doing the same. I told y’all nobody gaf about whether or not the manager will start hating you just for saying something that’s clearly true.

Our district manager is visiting our store today and she is meeting with everyone individually on how we feel about our managers and the company itself. Omg I cannot WAIT to talk to her cuz my managers have the worst communication ever. A few months back the coordinator for men’s/kids told me she was in one of those coordinator meetings with the managers and she said that they were gonna switch her to women’s since the one we had left and they were gonna promote me to men’s/kids coordinator….they never asked me ONCE at all bro. The fact that I had to find out from her and she wasn’t even supposed to tell me but idc ima mention it to the DM.

Does anyone have a really old Burlington store near them still? The one near my house is located in Greenbelt , MD and it’s the most rundown store I have ever seen like omg. Some of the store is carpeted and has old tiling. The fitting rooms are actually open unlike other stores around my area. The store used to be bigger back then but they’ve shrunk down since then. There’s an area in the store where the floor is actually sinking….and it’s located in the basement of a mall😭😭😭. I don’t know why the company doesn’t close this location and relocate.
