Paper mâche on cardboard?

I've decided to continue with my plan and make a sword out of cardboard. I was planning to layer multiple cardboard layers with alternating directions when I thought of paper mache (papier mâché?). Would it be a good idea to wrap the final product in it?

How durable are cardboard tools?

I am not looking towards larping in big events, but rather to play with my friends. Since I have spare cardboard, I thought of using it to make weapons for us to use, since I dont really know how to make swords with pvc pipes and pool noodles. Would these weapons even last more than one day?

Triceps as a beginner hurts

It's my first time doing an exercise for triceps (overhead triceps extension, 20lbs). Whenever I bring the weight up, my triceps "hurt", but the pain goes away as soon as i stop. Am I just overworking it?
