Mini dome additions and relief work on the dome are in progress.

All parts undergo detail depth layering and dome processing. Relief is applied to the mini dome without retouching. After drying, the imperfections will be removed.

Suggest how to make it more sturdy and cover properly to paint

This is a Katana Stand I made. It's supposed to be hung on a wall to display the Katana. Now, it's interior is a bit sturdy. I used a long hard stick for the skeleton and ice cream sticks to fill in. Now, I still believe I should do something to make sure it's reallllly strong yet light.

I'm thinking ice cream sticks all over outside and something to cover it again with glue water and paper. What do yall think?

100 lbs of Shredded Cardboard: Worth Selling or Should I Just Toss It? 📦🤔

I’ve been saving about 100 lbs of shredded cardboard and was hoping to sell it, but I’m having a hard time figuring out where to start. I’m in the Los Angeles area and was wondering if anyone here has experience with this.

Are there businesses that actually buy shred

ded cardboard? If so, what kinds of places should I contact? Recycling centers? Packaging companies? Farms? Pet bedding suppliers?

Also, is shredded cardboard even something people want to buy in smaller amounts like this, or is it mostly only useful in bulk?

Any advice, ideas, or direction would really help. Thanks!

Giant Troll Costume

Loosely inspired by the Thomas Dambo troll in our neighborhood.  Exterior shell is all cardboard, with hot glue for adhesion.  Internal structure is an old backpacking frame + wood struts.  Full weight is 35 lbs.  I did a 3D model in Blender and used papercraft-maker.com to convert that into papercraft templates printed on paper and laid over the cardboard for cut and fold lines.  I initially started with an Xacto blade but upgraded to an electric cardboard cutter at some point during the project, which was clutch.  The costume has made an appearance at both Halloween and a recent neighborhood parade with nothing falling apart entirely, so I'll call it a success!

Foldable book shelf

I am thinking of making one based on one I saw in Amazon. The right and left sides fold in and when they open, the shelves fall down and lock in place. I was thinking of filling the the inside frame with cardboard and a little bit of cement to give it weight. I’ll be uploading folders, any suggestions to improve the foldability. I have some hinted I already made, I might add it for the sides and the shelves. Anyone had any experience making foldable or collapsible furniture?

Hagia Sophia: From Part To Whole | %100 Cardboard & NO GLUE | Manual Engineering

The entire structure stands thanks to static balance and interlocking connections; glue was used for small parts, however, no adhesive was used when the resulting parts were added to the main structure.Time-lapse video to see how the parts fall into place.

Garford-Putilov "Grozny" armored truck used by the Czechoslovak legion in Russia, 1918.

My second carboard project. I tried and learned few new things during the build and I'm really starting to enjoy this hobby.

My first and predictably trashy helmet

Today I decided to make something out of cardboard for the first time and as expected it turned out to be rubbish.I also didn't take into account the size of my nose and it fits with difficulty lol

I’m making a full cosplay of my transformers oc Patchwork

So far it’s taken about 5 and a half hours of work, 1 cereal box, 1 baking margarine box, 3 tissue box’s, part of a wrapping paper tube, some other cardboard, and a lot of hot glue. The detachable gun wasn’t even in my original plan but I thought it would look cool.

Last image is so you can see what he looks like.
