So ive been researching about this topic yesterday and i found some interesting facts.
In the late ww2, Germans were obsessed with buiding giantmungus tanks that almost(if not all) no bridge can suspend. These are the two primary methods:

1. Go under the river: The mighty Maus could go 8m underwater thanks to a lot of complex preparations such as a large snorkel and electrical motors(whose power was supplied my another maus)
2. Go over the river: The P1000 Ratte could 'easily' go over the river since it was so large.
   Do you know any other methods?

added optics, vents and SMOKE LAUNCHER. i also found this thing can be used as a phone holder
