From cardboard to fiberglass... a simple Dodecadehedron flowerpot
From cardboard design to fiberglass model... my first and I'm very proud of it. Not yet done, but almost there

Anakonda and his people think they’ve got us right where they want us. Have you guys noticed what’s been happening over the last few weeks? It’s not a technical glitch, and it’s definitely not a "market realignment."
Look at the patterns:
Do you think it’s a coincidence that both major telcos, acting like a synchronized cartel, decided to choke internet access for broke Gen Zs and Millennials tortured by taxes and levies at the exact same time?
It’s not about profits. Profits were fine. This is about control. The government knows where the real opposition lives. They know they can't control the narrative on X, TikTok, or Reddit. They saw what organized online spaces did, and they see how fast momentum builds whenever #SisiNiSifuna or anti-tax movements start trending. They can’t tear gas a hashtag, and they can’t abduct an entire algorithm.
So what’s the strategy? Economic throttling. If a 22-year-old in Kasarani or Kisauni has to choose between buying 1GB to post or stream a political space versus buying 2 chapatis for dinner, they are betting you'll choose the chapatis. If small businesses and cybercafes can no longer afford unlimited Wi-Fi to host local spaces or stream news, they think the conversation dies.
They are trying to price the youth out of the digital town square to scuttle opposition momentum before 2027 even gets close. By the time campaign season officially hits, they hope half of us won't even be able to afford the bundle to stream a press conference, let alone organize.
It’s a masterclass in old-school silent censorship, and they genuinely think it’s going to work. They think they’ve finally found our off switch. Kitawaramba.
We aren't going back to KBC, and we sure as hell aren't going silent. Adaptability has always been our strength. For now, I’ve switched to Faiba... 4he coverage can be hit-or-miss depending on where you are, but the prices don't feel like exploitation.
Find alternative ISPs, share local Wi-Fi passwords, hit the public hot spots, and stay connected however you can. They can squeeze the bundles, but they can't choke an idea whose time has come. We move regardless.
Its furahiday, it doesn't mean tutakataa gigs za weekend
A few weeks ago, I saw an amazing cardboard artwork by an awesome creator here (sorry couldn't find the original post) and it inspired me to create a Dodecadehedron flower pot. I did, and here's the progress. This is totally something i am turning into a business ... creating these geometrical growers and pots for modern spaces, and they all start with recycled cardboard. Best part? the product weighs under 100g before paint
Hey fam. I'm Limo, a math teacher by profession. I'm new to this club, and I'm always excited to make a friend. Here's a pic of my favorite spot. Can you guess what solo activity takes me here every sunday afternoon?
