Streaming advice

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for honest advice from people who have experience growing a gaming YouTube channel.

I currently have around 25 subscribers and have uploaded about 53 videos, mostly live streams. My streams usually get only 2–3 viewers, and I'm struggling to get any attention.

I know that turning live stream moments into Shorts is a good strategy, but I don't know:

How to identify the best moments from a stream.

What makes a gaming Short interesting.

How to edit Shorts so people actually watch them.

I also only recently started talking during my streams. Before that, I barely spoke because I wasn't confident. My communication skills still aren't very good, and I'm trying to improve.

I'd really appreciate any advice on:

How you find the best clips from your streams.

What type of Shorts perform well for gaming channels.

What mistakes you think new streamers commonly make.

What you would do if you were starting again from almost zero.

I'm ready to put in the work—I just feel like I'm missing the right direction.

Thank you for taking the time to help.

BCA Graduate (21) Passionate About Gaming Visuals: Is 3D Art the Right Path for Me?

Hello everyone,

I'm 21 years old and about to graduate with a BCA degree in India. I've always been interested in video games, anime, and especially the art and environments behind them. I love story-driven games, and whenever I see beautiful game worlds, graphics, and visual designs, I'm genuinely amazed by the work that goes into creating them.

Recently, I've been thinking about becoming a 3D Artist, but I have no formal experience yet.

I'd love some honest advice from people working in the industry:

How did you know 3D art was the right career for you?

Is 3D art still a good career choice in 2026?

With a BCA background, should I consider Technical Art instead of pure 3D modeling?

What should a complete beginner learn first, and which software should I start with?

Should I pursue this seriously after graduation or keep it as a hobby until I'm sure?

I'm worried about making the wrong career decision, but I also don't want to ignore something I might truly enjoy.

Thank you for any advice or guidance! 🙏
