Where can you still buy new AirPods Pro 2 that aren’t fakes?

Mine broke and I have AirPods Pro 3 now but I miss the sound quality of AirPods Pro 2. I was about to order some listed on the Best Buy app that are online only but then I happened to see someone on here say they’re fakes. Can anyone confirm if that’s true? If a big box retailer like Best Buy is letting people sell fakes on their app, I don’t know who I can trust.

Anyone else think the treble on AirPods Pro 3 is way too high?

I read a review a while back saying the sound on the AirPods Pro 3 isn’t the best because it has high bass, high treble, and weak midrange. I believe the high treble claim because they make the s sounds way too sharp for me, it’s like nails on a chalkboard. Even when I turn the reduced treble option on in Apple Music, many songs are still too sharp sounding for me to enjoy. I have this sensitivity with certain other speakers but I never noticed it on the AirPods Pro 2 and I really miss them. Unfortunately mine are broken and I’m not sure where to buy new ones that aren’t fake.

Are TMS pulses supposed to hurt inside your head during the session?

I ended up doing just 3 3-minute sessions of TMS on the left side of my head for MDD but I’m worried that it could’ve already done some permanent damage to me. The pulses would hurt inside the left part my brain. My last session was 2 days ago and I still have an ache on that side of my head and my tinnitus is worse. Each session would make me feel very irritable and even more depressed than before for at least the rest of that day. Friday a week ago was my mapping and first session. The technician that was there said she was filling in for the usual technician. Despite the papers I signed saying I needed ear plugs, she said I didn’t and that they didn’t even have any there. The machine was not loud at all so I thought it wouldn’t be a problem. But I guess the magnetic pulses, not the noise, made my tinnitus worse. The NP who did my initial consultation mapped my brain with her and then left. The technician started my first session and the first few pulses just felt like tapping on my scalp. She then turned it up, saying it works better the stronger it is, but those pulses really hurt bad. So she turned it down but it still hurt, just not as bad. She said that’s ok as long as I can bear it, and since it would only be 3 minutes, I decided to bear the pain because I really needed this to work. I had a headache on that side of my head for the rest of that day and all of Saturday even though their papers said that if I do get a headache, it shouldn’t last longer than 30 minutes. By Sunday it would come and go, but even when it stopped hurting, I would just feel something on the left side of my head. I have had a lot of headaches and migraine headaches for the last 10 weeks and whenever it’s a migraine, it’s a pounding pain in the left side of my head like it has to do with a blood vessel. They had gotten a lot less severe and frequent in the days leading up to the TMS. I told them all of these things. But this headache from the TMS felt different from those. It was just on the left side of my head but not pounding, just constant.

On Monday, the usual technician was there and she confidently said it’s not supposed to hurt. She seemed impatient and cold like she hated her job or hated me. She turned the strength down until it didn’t hurt and said that’s a very low power that would need to go up in subsequent sessions for the TMS to work. She scheduled me for a remapping on Wednesday with nothing on Tuesday. The NP was back to remap me on Wednesday and said it’s ok if it feels uncomfortable but not painful. This time he also mapped the right side of my head. They were supposed to also do TMS for OCD a couple weeks later. He left and the technician did my third session. She turned the power down until the pain was bearable. I told her it still hurt a little but this time she said that’s ok. Once again I felt very irritable and even more depressed afterwards. The teeth on the right side of my head were sensitive for a few hours after this session. My tinnitus is still worse and the left side of my head still hurts.

I’m sorry this was so long but is it normal for the TMS pulses to be painful? They sent me a lot of mixed messages about this.

Edit: I forgot to mention my body felt very tense and my arms and legs kept twitching when I tried to sleep the night after the first session.

Which TMS coil is best for OCD?

I just started TMS therapy for depression and OCD and the PMHNP-BC overseeing it said they would start with the depression coil on the left side of my head and I think he said it was 10 sessions in that they would start also doing the coil for anxiety on the right side of my head. I asked him if it would be the coil for OCD or anxiety, and he told me it would be the one for anxiety because he’s seen the TMS coil for general anxiety work better for OCD in his patients than the coil that’s specifically for OCD. I googled it and I don’t see anything saying that. Has anyone here heard of this? When I first called them I said I needed TMS for OCD and depression. They said ok and that’s what they’ll do for me after I see one of their doctors who needs to evaluate me and set this up with my insurance. I didn’t know who it would be and after I saw him and he said I’m a candidate for TMS I looked at his bio on their website and noticed that it lists anxiety and a few other mental problems as his specialties but not depression or OCD. I’m really worried and not sure what to make of things or if I should continue TMS treatments with them. Could he just be saying that because maybe they don’t even have the OCD coil or something but they want my insurance money? My mapping and first session was last Friday and it hurt a lot inside my head on the left side, so the technician that was in because the usual one wasn’t there that day turned the power lower. She said it’s ok if it hurts as long as I can bear it and it works better the higher the power is. After she turned it down, it still hurt but less and since my sessions are only 3 minutes each I decided to bear the pain. It gave me a headache in that spot where it hurt for the rest of that day and Saturday. On Sunday it would come and go. I have had a lot of headache and migraine problems the last 2 months, and the migraines are always pulsing headaches on the left side of my head. But they were getting less frequent and severe in the days leading up to my first session. The headache the TMS session gave me on the left side was not pulsing. The usual technician that was there on Monday said the TMS pulses aren’t supposed to hurt. She kept turning the power down until it didn’t hurt. She said that was a very low level and that it would need to go higher in subsequent sessions or it wouldn’t work. She canceled the next day’s session and scheduled me for a remapping 2 days later on Wednesday to see if they could change things so it wouldn’t hurt for me. I noticed the plastic on the back of the thing they put against your head had 2 huge cracks in it and I asked her about it and she said that’s just normal wear and tear and won’t affect the functioning of the machine. So they remapped me yesterday on Wednesday and the PMHNP-BC said it’s ok if it’s uncomfortable but not painful. For some reason they also mapped my right side this time. He left after the mapping and the same technician from Monday started my session and it hurt again and she turned it lower and it still hurt a little bit but this time she said that’s ok. I did not get a headache afterwards like on Friday but I feel a dull ache there sometimes, it comes and goes. Sometimes it doesn’t hurt but I just feel something in that spot. The teeth on the right side of my head felt sensitive for a couple hours. I’m really nervous about all of this and I don’t know if I should go somewhere else or at what point my insurance won’t cover someone else doing it. I’ve had bad depression and OCD for 20 years, the depression longer, and I feel like this could be my last hope. I’ve been on many antidepressants and sometimes they helped somewhat but I had to stop all of them eventually for various reasons.
