Social Media 🦈 are circling

Reports are circulating that some CLC candidates may not plan to work regularly from their assigned offices if elected. For example, there are claims that at least one candidate for a resident national officer position may not intend to live in the Washington, D.C., area, and that some Regional Business Agent candidates may plan to spend much of their time working in the field rather than from their offices.
I’m not naming names, and I don’t want this thread to become about specific individuals. Instead, I’m interested in discussing the broader issue. Do you believe resident national officers should live and work in the Washington, D.C., area? Should Regional Business Agents primarily work from their assigned offices, or is it more important for them to spend significant time in the field? What do you think is the right balance?
I also think this is a question that every candidate should be asked during the current podcast interview circuit. Whether a host supports the CLC slate or is trying to remain neutral, this is a legitimate question that members deserve to hear answered. So far, I haven’t heard it asked, and I think that’s a missed opportunity. Knowing where candidates intend to work and how they plan to fulfill the responsibilities of the office they’re seeking is relevant information for every member before casting a ballot.

Corey’s masterclass

Corey gave a masterclass on how to beat stationary event discipline in episode 301. The template he gave should be used on all types of performance disciplinary action. It was long but people who listened while working should listen again at home with paper and pen while taking extensive notes. This episode is the reason why he should be the director of city delivery. Putting him anywhere else at HQ is wasting his talent.

William Boon part 2? 😂

William Boone having a 2 part interview with Rich Ray is comical. All you need is to listen to that guy for about 8 seconds to know that not only is he not qualified but he also isn’t getting many votes. Makes me wonder why Ray would have him back for a second time after the first agonizing 90 minute interview. I actually listened to the whole thing. My only conclusion is that it’s a tactic by the CLC. They just put Kosier out there for the position of director of health and safety. If Manny runs it will be a tough lift for Kosier who already failed at city the delivery gig. Maybe someone like Rolando will be running for city delivery and in that case the CLC is just shuffling their deck. So in turn they want to make sure that Boone isn’t around to even get 100 votes from Kosier because of razor thin margins he would have with Manny. All these election politics are fascinating to me. Now I’m hearing maybe Manny might be running for a different position. Maybe he’s running for city delivery. I did hear the other day Walton make a comment on his show how he made a call to Manny to get some HIPP information sent to him. This means at the very least there’s a cordial relationship there. I doubt Corey would put Kosier in a place to intentionally fail. Once again all fascinating.

Willie boy Boone

I listen to every postal related podcast. Aside from FATA there are maybe 2 or 3 others that are worth listening to. The rest are mostly nonsense but I still listen. I just heard William Boone on with Richie Ray. I need someone to explain this guy to me.

Another lineup change

I guess the rumors I heard in DC were true. Kosier was going to be out as nominee for city delivery. Now he’s going to be nominated for health and safety. This was a spot that didn’t have a candidate from the CLC. This means that they must have heard Manny is retiring or they knew he wasn’t qualified for city delivery and didn’t want to give Kosier is buy in money back. Either way I’m hoping everyone is using pencils with all these changes. Please don’t come for me people. I really don’t care who wins or loses these elections because the contract is strong enough for me to take care of my business. The money will always be the same no matter who’s in office. People will realize this if Henry wins. He isn’t getting you any more money than Renfroe can or did. I’m just here for the drama. The convention should be great.

CLC “slate”

Was listening to an old episode of the podcast called Hothouse. Someone explain to me how the “CLC” put that guy on their “slate” to be a business agent. He seems like a nice enough guy and I’m sure he’s a good steward but he can barely speak and listening to him read is downright painful. The other guy Kribel who’s running for BA is another issue. I heard him complaining about he can’t get the bathrooms in his home office cleaned. If he can’t get bathrooms cleaned in his home office clean, how is he going to take care of an entire region? The CLC has a lot of competent people but that doesn’t mean they can be put just anywhere. The guy Groskopf is a problem for me. Here’s a guy that had his personal Facebook hacked and it’s still hacked and people who follow his page have been scammed out of money. Facebook pages don’t just get hacked out of nowhere. Someone has to trick you into being hacked. This guy is running for Trustee. Are we supposed to just his judgment when it comes to money? I’m not saying he’s dishonest just not too qualified to handle a responsibility like that. I’m hearing the guy they have lined up to be director of city delivery is also a nightmare. I’m not familiar with him at all so I won’t comment but I am familiar with Corey and to me he’d be the perfect city delivery candidate. People be careful when you vote. Please don’t just pull a “party lever”.
