Today I logged into Fidelity to check my 401(k) and noticed that my short-term return is –2.7%, which represents a large chunk of money. My overall balance looks fine, so I’m a bit confused about why it’s in the negative. I haven’t contributed to my 401(k) the past few months because I’m on furlough. Any info will help. Thank you.
