I wanna get some contact lenses \[for the first time\] & I would like to know of some reputable eye places that you all recommend. I know that(or I’ve been told at least) there is a separate exam for contacts compared to eyeglasses. Would I have to pay OOP for that? For context I have Davis vision under/with my Union HMO IBX & I haven’t gotten an eyeglass exam since June 27 2025

I’m currently using la roche posay mela b3 serum dark spot corrector & I was just “informed” that one should also use a melanin inhibitor. Do you have any recommendations? Should I use a cream or serum & when should I apply it? Before or after the Mela b3?
