PsychFancisco was my very first con, first anything like it, really. After an incredibly tough year where psych has genuinely been a lifeline, I’m so grateful I was able to go and give that to myself. I only made it to Sunday and went solo, but I dressed in my brightest colors to match the energy I wanted to feel. I didn’t talk to as many people as I maybe could have, but that’s a goal for next time. Baby steps. Mostly I just wanted to say: it felt so good to feel safe in a space. In this world, right now, that meant everything. Thanks to everyone who went and contributed to that atmosphere.
