Wanting to put a CB in my Polaris UTV but I am finding that installing a good antenna may be an issue due to the lack of a good ground plane. I have seen the firestick "no ground plane" kits, and I'm unwilling to scrape paint/powder coat to try and get a solid connection to the roll bar. Any suggestions or just go GMRS?

Love the KO3's but they sling a lot of rocks, considering adding mud flaps front and back. Do they help at all? Do they look stupid?
