Garmin User - looking to switch

Hey, everyone, I’m currently wearing a Garmin Fenix 8. I’ve had a forerunner 965 and Apple Watch Ultra previously.
I loved the UI and faces of the Apple Watch Ultra over the Garmin. Garmin faces are mostly ugly with a shit ton of data thrown in there.
I know Coros is amazing with their stats, which is a plus. But I am looking for a watch that has great design, bigger display and resolution, beautiful (not overly gradient) watch faces.
I’m also considering a Suunto Vertical 2.

Any insight would be great.

Current Garmin User - looking at Race 2 and Vertical 2

I’m debating between the two.

I love the UI simplicity. The design looks great. Garmin just overloads their UI with so much data, gradients, and it looks cheap.

I’m a runner, so I’m just using it track my runs and workouts.

The Suunto default watch faces are better than what I’ve seen on Garmins.

I’m looking for insight to see if this is the right move to make.

Current watch: Garmin Fenix 8

Edit: I think this is how you must edit. Thank you to everyone’s input. You’ve all helped tremendously. I’ve ordered the Suunto Vertical 2! The funny thing is that I asked the Coros community and one person asked “have you looked at Suunto?” Haha.
