@Pilestedt or @Arrowhead Why Was The Stationary Reload With Jump Pack Removed?

(I'm posting my playtime for the GD who will claim I probably don't even play the game.)

From my researching looking into why I could no longer do stationary reload using the jump pack I found the wiki entry listed in the above screenshot.

I tried to see if it was mentioned in the recent patch notes on steam and couldn't find it.

This tactical solution players like myself found was literally the only reason I started using both the MG-42 Machine Gun and MG-206 Heavy Machine Gun because of their mandatory stationary reload.

Who exactly was this a problem for? The Terminid or Illuminate players in a parallel universe playing hd2?

Even for balance/realism argument, I can understand having to stand still to reload explosive ammo so you don't drop it and kill everything near you, but why does a super soldier need to stand still to reload a machine gun and heavy machine gun they can already shoot while walking?

I really can't understand why the fuck this had to be fixed like it was somehow equivalent to heavy pen grenade launcher stupid easy?

Is It Me or Is AH Rebuffing Automatons After They Previously Nerfed Them?

  1. We complained about the gunship rocket spam, so they nerfed their rocket ammo. Now they buffed their laser machine guns to be sniper accurate. If you don't bring medium pen+ or rockets, you are pretty much screwed. I can dodge multiple heavy devs, but these flying turds are a lot worse especially if there is more than 2 (they will circle around till they can get an angle).

  2. We complained about War Strider grenade spam, so now they reduced the grenades but are spawning a lot more of them which negates the grenade count nerf. Their hitbox seems to be a lot more janky now too. I had one ignore my chainsaw cutting his leg for 5 seconds, stomp the floor, and soccer kick me while I was in the air still.

  3. Vox Engine. We complained about their ability to walk through walls, have other units phase through the tracks, and their spawns, so they got nerfed for a bit. Now I am seeing almost the same number of them being dropped off before the nerf.

I feel like someone at AH took it personally that they had to be nerfed them, and wants to see them made stronger again.

What are you folks thoughts especially on the gunships?

AH: We Fixed Vox Machine Spawns

D10 Difficulty

We didn't even have one near us, so I start doing radar, and 5 second later I am instantly dead.

I comeback from reinforcement and there is 5 Vox Engines shooting at us.

1 Vox Engine from patrol nearby = make sense.

2 Vox Engines from bot drop = weird I didn't see the flare.

5 Vox Engines = WTF?!?

The only way this would have been possible is if they removed the spawn limit.

ExO-51 Lumberer Exosuit Should Have Been MO Reward (HD1 Vet)

Background: I'm a a Helldiver from the first galactic war that was frozen after the major victory against the illuminates and unfrozen for these returning threats to our freedom.

The EXO-51 Lumberer Exosuit is not a new design. It was already an Exosuit we had from the first galactic war (HD1).

I can understand if the Ministry of Defense had to start from scratch on a new design concept but just like the other 2 Exosuits, the EXO-51 Lumberer was also pulled from the first galactic war, so what makes this one special that we got to spend our supercredits for it? To me this appears to be the Ministry of Defense starting to test us Helldivers on what they in the future they can lock behind Warbonds. First it was strategems, now Exosuits, then upgrades for our Super Destroyers?

One of the representatives stated in his AMA that they feel like you have other options already available, but that was also the case for ship upgrades. This is speculation, but it sure seemed like Ministry of Defense only announced the free vehicles because several Helldivers complained about it.

One argument I keep reading is that 'the Warbond would not have sold as well without these 2 new Exosuits.'

That's not true. They could have replaced the Exosuits with the highly requested vehicle repair tool we had from the first galactic war.

They could have replace the EXO-51 Lumberer Exosuit with a repairing vehicles secondary (blowtorch 1 hand and metal scraps on the other hand which is also the ammo).

Still not enough reward compared to the EXO-51 Lumberer Exosuit?

Give us a call in strategem so our Pelican drops off a storage trailer we can rearm our Exosuits (Exosuit walks in one side and comes out the other with full ammo) which will then explode to avoid falling into enemy hands (like a destroyed vehicle to avoid performance issues).

I also put in a request for the EXO-55 Breakthrough to have a large Super Spear replace the tiny shotgun, but that will probably be rejected once someone uses it to starts cooking dead Chargers over a fire.

Why?

If we managed to survive getting in front of a hulk, we should be able to kill it by stabbing it in the visor with One True Flag. High risk = high reward. Its one of the reason why the defoliation tool has become my favorite support strategem.

It also makes sense that a melee support strategem should be strong enough to pierce through the hulk's visor at least.

Defoliation = Strongest

One True Flag = second strongest

I have a house on a corner with basement that only has an interior entrance.

My issue is that any work that needs to be done in the basement requires that people come into the house which means making a path of newspapers or cardboard to reduce the dirt stains on our floors as the basement floor is also unfinished.

I'm saving up money to hire a contractor to put in a walkout for the basement, but I'm not sure if I should place the exit in the back of the house or the side of the house.

I was thinking of going with a backyard entrance so that dogs and kids can have the entire side of the house to run and play, but I was told side entrance is better for a faster exit especially if bedrooms will be added later.

Those of you with a basement walkout, what do you folks prefer and why?
