Question about a repair estimate
Let me preface that I got one of those “warranties” thats supposed to cover everything, well it covers NOTHING i needed repaired.
That being said, my local Mazda dealership quoted me $12k in repairs. Thats over twice what this 2014 Sport is worth.
I was able to go to eBay and piece together all the parts they quoted me (i paid $270 for the assessment but it came with a complete list everything i need which is invaluable). For the most part, i can get all of the parts i need and a local shop can install for about $1200 in labor.
Except ONE PART (it’s listed as):
PUMP UNIT CONTROL MODULE STEERING
What exactly is that?
If we can collectively agree on what it is, I’ll add that to my order and pull the trigger on the purchase
PS: I won’t tell you what Mazda quoted the part as I’m curious what the aftermarket sells it for
