What Salesforce SE OTE Would You Consider?

I’ve been a Salesforce Developer for 10 years. I talked with a recruiter at Salesforce about a Solutions Engineer job. I’m attracted to the career and a spot at Salesforce, but the base portion of the 70/30 OTE would be 15% - 25.5% less than my current salary. And it requires being in the office 3 days a week. Would you consider it?

Leave for Salesforce Tech Lead with Similar Comp?

I've been a Salesforce Developer going on 10 years. I'm currently a Salesforce Developer lll at a midsized, private, cybersecurity company. There's one, mature, Salesforce org that I work on along with two other developers. The team is great, the company seems positioned well, and my manager likes me. However, the work is mostly enhancements.

Before that I was a Senior Salesforce Developer at a smallish but established federal consultancy (I'd also been at the senior level for a number of years at different companies before that). This last company extended me an offer to return as a Salesforce Technical Lead, joining a long term project. Building from scratch at the enterprise level and the title bump are the draw, but being at the mercy of government contracts isn't ideal.

The compensation is comparable, so there's no pull there. Then it comes down to which is best for my career long term. Any advice?
