Last summer I photographed this poem and drawing from the backpacker’s bulletin board at Tuolumne Meadows.
I’ve thought about it ever since.
If you happen to be the person who wrote or drew this—or if you recognize it—I would love to hear the story behind it. What inspired it? Were you backpacking? Had you just come through one of the Sierra afternoon storms? Or was it something else entirely?
I realize this is a long shot, but your words stayed with a stranger for over a year, and I wanted you to know that.
