Was I supposed to know they wanted 4 instead of 2?

I’ve done almost 9k orders and this finally happened

Had an Instacart order tonight where the customer ordered 1 vanilla ice cream and 1 chocolate ice cream. The store had them BOGO.
I grabbed exactly what the app showed: one vanilla and one chocolate. After delivery, the customer messages me:
“The ice cream was buy one get one. We’re missing 2 more.”
Apparently they expected 2 vanilla and 2 chocolate, so they could pay for one of each and get another of each free.
But if you wanted FOUR ice creams, why wouldn’t you put the quantities as 2 vanilla and 2 chocolate? The app showed two items, so I got two items. How am I supposed to know that quantity 1 actually means “grab me 2 because it’s BOGO”?

Does this happen anywhere else?

I probably do about 10 to 12 orders every day and have this happen at least two times a day. I don’t know how Instacart hasn’t deactivated me yet. Also before you say you have to watch the cashiers while they’re scanning it’s pretty much impossible when there’s nobody in line and I’m loading the order on the belt and the cashier already started scanning I’m not gonna tell the cashier. Hey don’t start scanning till I’m ready to watch you. The customer only got one and I verified it after the delivery.

Is this a glitch?

I’m not sure if this is a recent change with Instacart, if they’ve stopped doing this to me as some kind of punishment, or if they’ve just gotten rid of the feature altogether. Maybe it’s a glitch?
When you’re doing a triple batch, Instacart used to have you scan an item from each order to make sure you were delivering it to the correct customer. If you accidentally scanned an item that belonged to Order B while you were checking out Order A, it would give you a warning that you had the wrong item and needed to switch it.
Has Instacart done away with this feature, or do they only show it to shoppers who are making a lot of mistakes? Has anyone else noticed this?

I had a deliver for a hotel the delivery address said the hotel and room 203. when I pulled up to the hotel I messaged the customer and said room 203 right? No response. I went up to the room 203 put the groceries down and took the picture as I was walking away a man opened the door and said you got the wrong room I said isn’t this room 203 Rylie miller ? And the gentleman said it’s 203 but no Rylie miller here and no one placed a order I went down to the front desk and the lady working the counter said she had no one in the hotel under the name miller. When I contacted support they said since the order was marked as delivered it didn’t matter the customer didn’t and wasn’t answering and she wouldn’t try to reach out. When the customer contacts support they will handle the matter how they see appropriate. How could someone putting a hotel room they aren’t in be my fault?
