Tl:Dr Comments on marketplace listings lead to text messages attempting to collect info on the seller.
Multiple people have commented on my listings for various things. Usually, they will say my (sister, mom, brother etc) doesn’t have facebook, and gives you a number. (USUALLY IN COMMENTS, NOT MESSENGER) They will ask a few questions, then tell you to list it as sold, and they will attempt to send payments through cashapp, zelle, or another online transfer. The part that indicates that this is a scam is that they ask for many verifications and information that is not needed. Zelle does not need verification, and they asked for my name, address, and email. Im not sure what the end goal is, wether its sell info or steal bank account info, but be aware of this new (to me) scam. This exact format has happened to me twice, so it is a common scam. Ive been reading about people who get LTs in CA and take them off to get inspected. Im fine with that as I do all the work on my camaro myself but in the event that I maybe get state reffed for modified exhaust, will the state referee see that im tuned for LTs? Ive had a corvette and my camaro now with no mufflers and no trouble yet. I dont feel like buying 1000$ tunes over and over again. Any insight helps 👍
Since our conflict in Iran, the strait is once again closed. With our 6.2 LT’s taking 10 quarts of oil, theres a big need for it around here! Costco and Walmart is going to stop stocking it while the strait is closed as theres no more oil left to ship. If you need oil, buy it now!
