Anyone else feel a bit diddled when a roasters' standard size bags are smaller than 250g (eg 200g or 225g)?

Not talking about the specials which are 100g but it feels like when comparing between roasters most standard sizes are 250g so that's used as a comparitor. When it's 100g it's obviously different but using a slightly smaller standard size can fly under the radar and tricky to compare...imagine a brewery started doing 400ml beers or something. Obviously it's clearly labeled and is a minor niggle but I've definitely not realised before!

Anyone else's nursery crap at photos/updates as to what child has been doing and behaving?

Per title really. In the first room we got photos every day, the staff were generally pretty on top of how our daughter's day had gone, what she'd eaten etc.

She's now nearly 2 and in the older room, and this started off being the case but in the last couple of months we regularly (like 2-4 days a week) don't get any photos whatsoever. The app says she'll have eaten xyz then the person will say she didn't have much dinner today or vice versa. Recently the app said she'd done a loose poo, no comment on it when I picked her up ("oh she's had a good day", same as every day) - I asked and they didn't know, checked the app themselves and said yeah she did. I know that's what the app says, I want you to tell me about it?!

I do appreciate that there are lots of children to look after which is the priority, and that when there are photos she seems to be doing the fun stuff that I'd want. So I should just trust them but equally feel that it's part of the service for what we pay. I've seen one friend who receives really constructive messages every day about behavioural development, examples of her growing etc. It actually makes me feel quite sad knowing that she is doing so much of her learning and developing without us knowing anything about it because we both have to go to work. I have mentioned it informally recently but tempted to make it more formal.

Am I being unreasonable or is this sort of thing normal/expected?
