I'm not talking about freezing in the headlights, I'm talking about those deer that aren't even in the road until they see a car approaching and then lunge in front of it like their lives depend on it. What evolutionary feature causes that behavior?
I downloaded this mod without looking at the description thinking it would basically just be extra flavor with a fun new faction and genotypes, little did I know that if I ignored the quests my world would be crawling with incredibly problematic enemies.
I get HUNDREDS of insects in raids, constantly. I don't do killboxes (only traps and chokepoints, some may consider those the same thing but whatever) so it's been really, really tough to handle them all and I usually resort to calling allies for aid.
And then dealing with all those corpses afterwards... I try to recycle them into chemfuel but It's been like 2 ingame months since the last big raid and we're still butchering.
How do you deal with these best, outside of killboxes? They avoid fire, bullets bounce off, IEDs are unreliable for hitting groups, other traps do really nothing, and they always go straight for the eyes of my melee colonists.
I have an LG v40, kind of old I know, I'm broke. But one of the things it was praised for was the quality of photos, which is why I got it. I've been able to take fairly close-up shots of insects in crisp quality where you can make out their eyes, hairs, and all of their markings.
Recently, however, any photo I take will look fairly crisp on the screen while I'm lining up the camera, and as soon as I hit the button to take it, it turns blurry like some weird filter is being applied in post.
It did not do this before as I've used this phone to take plenty of pictures in the past and only recently have they started becoming blurry.
