Has Anyone Tried Playing as Ea-Nasir (not necessarily uunder that name) in an Online RP?

Pretty much, that question.

I have watched a few funny Skyrim RP videos lately (Bilrot, Jamal Steel, that guy who plays the naive Khajit, that guy who tries to get the workers to rise up), and it surprises me not to see a disgraced ingot merchant trying to redeem himself... or continuing to sell inferior product and have the nerve to be rude about it.

Has anyone tried that in other RP games?

For those who are nearing or have reached your goals in quitting or moderating, what are your favorite things about how you feel and how your life looks now?

For me, as I drink less, I notice more energry, of course.

My mood is better. I still deal with depression and anxiety, but they are reduced compared to the past.

I feel like I can get more done, and be more present in the lives of friends and family.

I feel freer, and I am looking forward to how much better things could get in the future.

What about you? Let's talk about what people have to look forward to if they take control over substance use and take better care of themselves. Sometimes, everyone needs a little positivity.

Had a Funny Dream Last Night

Vivec showed up to my door, to do some sort of mundane task like plumbing. I was like, "Wow, it's Vivec!"

He was only grey-blue, no gold.

Probably had this dream because I joked about him the other day, so the character was on my mind.

First Morrowind dream.

Has anyone else had a funny or weird one?

TSM is Great

Given how much I go on about the Sinclair Method and how well it worked for me, I figured it might merit a thread.

For anyone who does not know, TSM involves taking a drug called Naltrexone about an hour before taking a drink at all. If you do this for awhile, it trains your brain to not associate alcohol with immediate good feelings.

It is best to also use therapy to understand things like triggers, self medication, and masking (neurodivergent people often use alcohol to mask). Sadly, therapy is costly, and navigating mental health systems sucks and depends, in my country, on your relative level of privilege.

Two years ago, I had the shakes. I had to drink, even if I did not want to. I hated that lack of freedom.

I lost my best friend to liver disease. She was an irreplaceable person who was the opposite of AA ideas of what an SUD sufferer is. She was kind to a fault.

I deeply wish we could have done TSM together. Now, I can freelly go a week without drinking. I can have a few and stop. It is amazing.
