Tired of being the only one trying in my friendships
Summer holidays started a week ago and nobody is texting me anymore. All my friends have zero interest in doing anything with me. I am always the one who texts them first, but I just get left on read for days (and no, they aren't on vacation, they are right here in the city).
Now I just saw that my friend group met up without telling me. And it wasn't just a simple "oh, we forgot to invite you" situation. They actually removed me from their private stories so I wouldn't see it, but one of them forgot to do it.
This is so shitty. They don't even want to hang out online to play games anymore. I feel like a fucking beggar.
I also tried looking for online friends, but it feels like the internet is just full of predators and you can't trust anyone. It's so frustrating because I really don't know where to find genuine connections anymore.
