Hello, I’ve been playing guitar for a year and a half or so by now with only a combined 3-4 months of guitar classes, and im learning this metallica song i really like “jump in the fire” and was figuring i could learn the second solo but needed to get the rythm right first.

The problem is, the main riff sounds very chopped and most times i hit two strings instead of just one, the song goes pretty fast at some points so I’ve been using slown down youtube tab videos and thats the only time i make it sound pretty good

Any tips? Thank you
