Would you rather be loved in life and hated in death or hated in life and loved in death

Option 1: While alive you are seen by people as a kind and loving person and you are celebrated wherever you go or when you’re mentioned… but when you die disturbing secrets and rumors come out about you doing extremely awful things (true or not) and eventually everyone curses your name. People spit when they hear about you and your name becomes synonymous with words like “scum and evil”. For the rest of history you are seen as a terrible figure.

Option 2: In your life you are seen as weird, annoying, and arrogant by those around you. You don’t have many friends and are seen as an exile in your community cause many think you are responsible for doing something truly awful… but when you die, the bad rumors against you disappear and people start seeing you as good person. With hindsight people see how truly great your actions were and your name becomes synonymous with “good”.

You can run at top speeds 300m/s (670 mph), but you age 25% faster and have a fast metabolism

Essentially you have super speed but you also age rapidly and have a quicker metabolism meaning you need to at least 10K calories a day to live healthily.

As a bonus, your body will also heal faster so injuries and diseases take half the time it would normally take to recover from

Would you accept?

You are teleported to 1450 England with a magic bag of money

You will be teleported to whatever location you want in England in the year 1450. You will be given the currency of the time in the equivalent value of $100 million dollars today (let’s say you have a magic purse that holds all of the money in coins with the bag only weighing about 5 pounds). This is a one way trip…

You are given a week to do any preparation to understand the time period and language before leaving. The country will be in a civil war in a few years so keep that in mind cause you will be essentially living through the real equivalent of Game of Thrones

Would you accept? What would you do there?

0.1% of people in the world can transform into animals

About 8 million people (random) across the globe are given the ability to transform into any animal that they want at will (Exceptions include humans and mythological creatures). Essentially these people have the powers of Beat Boy from Teen Titans minus the whole being green thing.

While being in animal form, they can understand and properly communicate with other animals of the same species. They can’t communicate verbally in human language while in animal form so no talking with humans.

You are one of these individuals. Do you think the world would change much from this new power? What would you use this power for?

You can create alternate reality clones of yourself (inspired by the Alters)

A brilliant friend of yours gives you an advanced device which can create clones of you using your DNA, but there is a catch.

The device analyzes your whole life and all the major decisions you have made and presents them to you in a timeline. You create your clone by changing one event in your life and seeing how that changes the trajectory of the clone’s life such as for example whether or not you go to College, you fall in love, etc.

The clone will have the memory of its own life (it’s simulated by the machine) and to them that alternate reality would have felt real to them. The clone may have a different personality, skill set, etc. you do not know until you do the divergence as the device simulates what most likely would have occurred in this new “what if”

Would you use this device? What kind of decisions would you change in your past and what do you think would be the likely outcome?

You have signed up to become a human-animal hybrid

You have signed up for a special government program where for 1 million dollars, a group of scientists get to alter you using a special genetic procedure they developed. Essentially they can give you any aspect of an animal such as kangaroo feet that let you hop around, octopus tentacles, Gorilla Arms, an elephant’s memory, etc. The main drawback is that any animal you combine with will alter your appearance slightly making you have some resemblance to that animal. The elephant memory for example might lead to you having a face more like an elephant with gray skin and bigger ears. Kangaroo legs will make your legs resemble the structure of a kangaroo with your feet also getting stretched and some fur developing around the legs.

You have signed the contract and HAVE to go through the procedure, but the scientists will let you pick what animals you get mixed with (limited to 3). You can only pick animals that exist today and that are not extinct (no, you cannot pick humans).

What 3 animals would you pick?

Would you rather have the pouch or Legs of a Kangaroo for the rest of your life.

The pouch is made of flesh and attached to your belly with your nipples moving from your chest to the inside of the pouch. The inside of the pouch will be similar to that of a regular kangaroo and It can hold up to 25 pounds of weight.

The kangaroo legs will replace your normal legs and will look very similar and act similar to the legs of a kangaroo. You will be able to hop about 30 ft in height and move at speeds of around 40mph. You will not be able to walk normally and pretty much can only hop or crawl

Would you rather wait for judgement or accept a gamble for your fate in Purgatory(please read for context)

You have just died and are now waiting in a line to be judged in purgatory. The wait time for you will be 10,000 years and you can do nothing but stand in line to wait. If you get into Heaven it will be a place where you can do whatever you want and be with all your loved ones who are there. If you go to Hell you will experience various tortures for eternity.

Two people approach you, one is wearing a white suit and blue tie while the other is wearing a black suit and red tie.

White suit gives you an offer. If you want to skip the wait you can accept a bet to be the conscience of a random person about to be born. If you can help lead this person to live a good, healthy, and fulfilling life that qualifies for “Heaven” you can also go there too instantly instead of waiting. If you fail, you are put back in line in Purgatory with an increased wait time.

Black suit gives another option. You can be the conscience of a random newborn person, but you have to tempt them to be evil enough to qualify for Hell. If you succeed you get to become a Demon in Hell and avoid suffering eternal punishment, instead you will be doing the punishment on others for eternity. If you fail you are put back in line with an increased wait time

In both offers you cannot directly control or influence them, but you can give signals in their brain to nudge them towards favoring certain actions.

Please keep in mind this is not going to be about Christian Morality or that version of these concepts. It’s more so about general goodness or badness kind of like the show “the Good Place”. The judge determines the overall value of you.

How much faith do you have in yourself and this random person to do the thing you want? Would you accept the gamble or just wait out your judgement?

You grow ten times in size and are now a giant

Through magical circumstances you have grown in proportionate size to be 10 times taller than your original size instantly. Your weight is also increased similarly.

Also note that the magic lets you ignore laws like square cube that would prevent your existence. You are not going to die instantly/ collapse. Assume your body functions similarly to how it did when you were normal. You will need to eat more to maintain yourself.

What do you think you would do? What challenges would you face? How would society respond to your “growth spurt”?

Would you rather own a lightsaber or portal gun

Lightsaber is obviously from Star Wars and works similarly to how it does in the movies or shows (it can be whatever lightsaber you want as long as it has appeared in an official Star Wars movie or show.

The Portal Gun is from the game series Portal. It is pretty self explanatory. It shoots two portals and you can go through one portal and exit the other just like the games

Would you rather raise and care for a bear or a lion (read before voting please)

A rich friend gives you a special offer. You can choose to either raise a Grizzly Bear or South African Lion cub from birth until they die of natural causes. You will be provided an additional $30,000 every year to help with any expenses such as food and veterinary.

You have to be the main caregiver for the animal and cannot let anyone else raise or train it

A Demon hosts a talk show and you get invited on it

A demon by the name of Jimmy Deville decides to come to our world and hosts a talk show where he teleports in random people (including prominent celebrities, world leaders, etc) to be his guest that he interviews. He asks them a few introductory questions (who are you, what do you do, etc) but then he reveals the most morally evil thing you ever done and shows a video from your perspective of you doing said action and then asks why you did it. After the interview is done you are teleported back to where you originally were.

This show is automatically put on every screen in the world and is automatically translated to the language that the people there would understand and cannot be turned off while it is airing.

You are brought onto this show one day. What do you think would be the worst thing you did, how would you explain it, and what would you do after the show?

Would you rather fight 1 gorilla or 1000 chihuahuas with a knife

In both scenarios you are stuck in an empty arena with a sharp knife and some protective leather padded armor and helmet. There is nothing else inside the arena to help you.

The arena is about 1 square mile in area and you cannot leave until all the opponents are dead. Assume they are all hostile to you

Which do you think you have better odds against?

A world where no one grows old and babies are outlawed

A scientist has discovered how to make people immortal. No longer will people die of old age/ natural causes. The formula has specific conditions where people will age until they are around 25 and then they stop aging. Those that are already past 25 will stay at the age they are currently at.

Do note, this doesn’t make you invincible from dying, it just prevents you from aging.

In order to prevent population collapse the governments of the world chose to outlaw reproduction unless given authorization by the them. An organization is set up to neutralize any violations and you are its newest recruit.

You are sent into an apartment with a partner to neutralize two birthers. Your partner found and dealt with the parents, but you hear the cries of the baby and find it. It’s laying in a crib swaddled in a blanket and it stares at you. Your partner is in the other room waiting for you

Your orders are to neutralize it. What do you do?

Everyone in the world becomes deaf

A virus slowly spreads that takes away people’s hearing over the course of a year. There is no cure or vaccine for this and after 10 years everyone in the world has become infected with it and lose their hearing.

How would the world change without hearing. How would society and culture adjust to this? What would you do in this scenario?

You will lose your body in a year

You discover a cursed ancient artifact that when you touch it causes the soul of a pirate named Robert Hawk to be inside you.

Rob Hawk was a cunning Jack Sparrow-esque pirate that rebelled against the British Empire, but lost in a battle.

Rob wants to take over your body to exact his revenge on the British, but the process will take about a year and will kill you. The takeover is inevitable and nothing can be done to stop it, you will slowly turn into Bob (in terms of memory) and eventually you will no longer exist in your body. Just Rob.

For now, Bob will be visible to you in your head (like Johnny Silverhand from Cyberpunk 2077) and talk with you.

What do you do with the remainder of your life? How would you spend it?

Would you rather fight in a trial of seven or a 1 v 1 against a trained knight

A skilled knight challenges you to a trial by combat and you are forced to accept it. The main rule is that you have to fight it in a suit of full plate armor with a sword and jousting rod (will be provided for you)

You are given two options for this duel to the death. You can either fight him on your own or you can challenge him to a trial by seven where you and six other willing champions will fight the knight and his six willing champions.
