Me and my Aquarius mom have always had a messy complicated relationship. We’ve had our highs too don’t get me wrong, but growing up there was a lot of distance, emotional confusion , and feeling like motherhood was never really her focus.

My grandparents raised me for the most part, and me and my mom have been no contact for a while. I think what hurt the most was always feeling emotionally unwanted and growing up craving a type of love and comfort I never really got from her.

Yesterday she texted and called apologizing for everything and we both ended up crying over the phone hearing her finally admit the hurt honestly messed me up more than I expected.

Now my emotions are all over the place and idk what to do. Have you guys ever experienced this with a parent?

My mother is an Aquarius and our relationship has never really been good, we’ve always clashed. She’s been detached and erratic pretty much my entire life we barely even talk, so I mostly just keep my distance. She’s also had drinking issues over the years and honestly motherhood never really seemed like something she cared deeply about, which made things even harder. My grandmother raised me for the most part.

Just wondering if anyone else deals with a similar dynamic.

I’ll randomly become obsessed with a person, a hobby, a life plan, or an idea for like 3 days straight and act like it’s the greatest thing ever. Then a week later I’m over it and onto something else 💀

I get excited so fast it’s concerning. New people feel magical for 48 hours, every random idea that sounds life changing. 😂 Then once the adrenaline wears off I’m laying in bed staring at the ceiling like …yeah maybe I DO need to slow down 😭

Aquarius woman here and I just wanted to give Taurus their flowers. 💐 The Taurus women in my life have always been some of the strongest, most beautiful, hardworking, and open-minded women I’ve known, they’ve taught me so much. People talk about Taurus loving comfort, but the Taurus I know have always sacrificed their own comfort for the people they love.

What stood out most was their resilience they took whatever life threw at them, steadied themselves, and somehow kept moving forward without losing their grounding. I admired that so much.

My grandmother and aunt were both Tauruses , and I miss them both deeply. My first and only child is also a Taurus, so this sign will always be close to my heart.🥹

I’m an Aquarius woman with a Taurus daughter as my first and probably only child. She’s smart, beautiful, and full of personality. Little Charming menace 😂. I hear Taurus kids are very routine-oriented and struggle with change, but that hasn’t been my experience she adjusts pretty well and isn’t easily thrown off so I don’t think that will be a major issue.

For Taureans what did you need most growing up emotionally? What parenting style tends to work best, and what mistakes should I avoid?
